Sprayer Cart
TNRoofCleaner replied to Little Buddy's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
I used the 2 GPM delavan and a spot sprayer. I put it on a hand truck but I am going to change it to just a bucket because you can't move the bucket of stain anyhow with the hand truck. -
WOW I found a site to do the conversion because english makes more sense on engine sizes and the 5.4 converts to a 329.5 cubic inches I could not remember so I looked at mine and I have the 5.7 which converts out to 347.8 cubic inches. I have seen some 6 cylinders out pull a V8 so I guess it is just going to come down to what you want. When pulling the engine is not what is going to take the most abuse anyway. The drive train will take the most abuse. For 18.3 cubic inch difference I don't think you would even notice.

Largest Deck Staining so far this year
TNRoofCleaner posted a question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Here are some photos of the largest deck we have done so far this year. For me at least I am getting bombarded with wood restoration. Love it. This deck is located in Old Hickory, TN. This deck was stained with Bakers Super Cedar Dark. This was old wood.- 2 replies

They do say Chevy is like a rock.....ever try to push one? A rock that is. The Ford will do fine. 3/4 ton is perfect for what you do. 1/2 ton is too light in my opinion. The issue with the motors was with the 6.0 DIESEL not the gas engine. Just like when GM back in the 80's tried to make a diesel for their olds and basically converted a 350 to a diesel. That one was crap also. Make sure it has the towing package and you should be just fine. Like I said my 97 has over 130k on it and starts every time.

I learned to drive on a 56 Ford and have not looked back. I have never had front end issues on the Ford but the GMC (the one and only government made truck I have owned) had all sorts of issues and had less than 100k. I have a 97 Ford now with 130k on it and it just keeps going. I think I have a similar size engine.

People off work and now have time to search for what they want.

For one you can get rid of the logo in your signature. That belongs to Beth and Rod at See Dirt Run!

You can get fines totaling more than 32k. This is on houses built before 1978 Check with your local paint store for certification classes.

Nice to have an audience some times. Hard to fit a mask on it though.

I use express invoice Invoice Software for Windows or Mac for Easy Invoicing Creation There is a FREE version Quotes convert to workorders then convert to an invoice then you can apply the payment Just don't install all the extra junk they try to load.

Back to school syndrome. Everyone is buying school clothes and such so the discretionary income is not there.

I hear a lot of people having this issue. Not specifically KBK but web designers in general.

Weather has been good here. 3 decks and a fence completed already. Things are getting scheduled way ahead. Lots of wood calls this year.

Fence and Deck Staining this week
TNRoofCleaner posted a question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Here is a fence and deck that I completed yesterday in Clarksville, TN. It was stained with Bakers Super Cedar Dark. I built my own sprayer to do this and have attached a photo. I used a 1 GPM Delavan for the pump. -

Southern Stain and Seal in Murfreesboro, TN 615-604-5115. Call him and get some samples. Even with shipping it would probably be cheaper than ready seal. -

Bakers seems to work well for me. I also use Armstrong Clark but with shipping the price is terrible. I get the Bakers locally for a lot less and it seems to be holding up well. Another deck to do with Bakers and then one with AC Sequoia. Just don't use the super cedar from bakers on pine....very orange. -

Absolutely no pressure should be used. Moss is very slick on a roof. Florin knows what he is talking about as he lives just south of you in Seattle. The best way for your shingle is to use a solution that will kill the moss and then let the elements remove the dead material. The moss has been there for a while what's a little longer. This does need to be taken care of as moss can do the most damage to a roof than anything else that grows on them. You can also hire the cleaning done and you will be surprised on how little it actually costs if you get the right contractor. No pressure and/or non pressure are the key words you want to look for.

They are not gone. Now you can negotiate and get paid faster as under bankruptcy they can no longer accumulate debt but it does not mean they can't spend money. From the looks of the one here though they don't

You don't have to worry about that. There will not be any to give you any way.
