Who could forget? All to often we get complacent and these images should be shown more often so those who tend to do not forget what happened.

Hey there is one missing from that 12 pack!

If you lose prime on the sureflo you have to come down to get it going again. Go with a delavan setup from pressure tek. Either will work 5850 or fatboy. Rinse out pump after every use. Don't wait until you get home.

Visit Pressure Tek and look at the roof cleaning kits. They come set up for roof cleaning with all you need except the tank and maybe the battery.

pricing wood
TNRoofCleaner replied to Visionzlandscapes's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
I have a guy around here that advertises $75 to power wash a deck. I tell the folks that pressure washing alone will not kill the spores in the wood and it will come back under the finish. Pressure washer alone will not get all the algae, you need some chems to kill it. -

Thinking of a new profession
TNRoofCleaner replied to netspider's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
That is a sweet setup. You will not want to use heat on wood though but it would be great for cleaning driveways and brick etc. You will probably have to get a buffer tank as well because most homes can not supply 7 GPM to your machine. Surface cleaner would also be a great addition for concrete. Now if you want to keep your reputation in tact I would recommend supplying the sealer/stain for the wood. i.e. Armstrong-Clark, Baker's Gray Away or Ready Seal. Or something along those lines. If you apply something they bought from the box store, you will start getting unhappy customers when it fails. I'm sure others with more experience will chime in. There is so much info here it would probably take months if not years to get through it all. Welcome aboard and good luck to you. One more thing is read up on the different chems as they can be your best friend or your worst enemy if used incorrectly. -
I use the Delavan 5850 with a 0040 and 2540 tips. Never have to get on the roof just to the gutter.

I think the guy has a pipe dream. Franchise a graffiti removal for 60k....LOL You can do it without all the flash on the truck and trailer. I looked into a franchise once and they required that you purchase a new vehicle. NOT! Especially when he had nothing proprietary except the process. Looks like some of the product I use for graffiti that comes from Australia. Not as much of a secret as he thinks it is. I had to laugh at some of the amounts they were asking for with less than 100k in sales.

Here is a deck we finished today. Nothing spectacular except for the change from old to new. We also cleaned the roof and gutters on this home. -

Yes it was. I real time it still looks like the original picture. What I was trying to show was the lap marks that Ken pointed out by the rails. You can still see them but they are not as bad as in the original picture. Something to watch for in the future. Thanks guys. -
I picked this up today. 13 hp Honda Comet pump @ 5 gpm, 200' of hose, wands, extention wand and many extras all for $1500. It really pays to be patient. 3rd time is the charm to get the right picture.
