  1. LANDA PGDC Price?

Price is really good. 300 hours is nothing which means he was part time or he disconnected the hour meter, but you would be able to tell if it has been run harder than 300 hrs. If it looks good and runs good $2200 for the machine alone is a great price.
  2. My new rig!

Mike, I still have the Isuzu NPR. It has the same setup in it, but at 11 mpg it doesn't go any further than about 30 miles out. All my out of town work is done with this trailer. I pull it with my cummins diesel which gets 14 mpg, but the Dodge has satelite radio and GPS and just rides much better. I could get better mpg but running 80 all the time doesnt help.
  3. LANDA PGDC Price?

Landa makes good machines, not sure about that particular model. If its a hot water machine that is an awesome price!
  4. My new rig!

I'm still no good at posting pics, now they are to small. I'll keep trying until I get it right.
  5. This is for guys with enclosed trailers. I have a few questions. Did you put some type of spray in liner down before using on a daily basis? If so how is it holding up and what type did you use? I just purchased a 7x14 Horton Hauler with the 3/4" pressure treated floor, so for the guys who use an enclosed without any type liner, how is it holding up for you? Thanks.
  6. Enclosed Trailer

Red? I think I better stick with something like gray. Feel free to call me, not much brain to pick but you can take a stab at it.
  7. Enclosed Trailer

Thanks guys for the responses. I'm going to put something down myself. Neil, we are off to our best start ever, thanks for asking. We are just now starting to catch up a little. House washing, we are staying booked 2 weeks out( averaging 9 to 10 hours a day 6 days a week). I have found out over the past couple months, a 2 week period is about the longest I can get anyone to wait. Even repeat customers that I have had for a while dont want to wait that long, so for them we will work on Saturdays so I dont lose them. You haven't seen me around in a while but I've been checking in pretty regular. Good luck to you. P.S. Why Orange? My logo is red, yellow and black.
  8. Enclosed Trailer

Thanks John, I will look into that, sounds cheaper than having someone spray in a liner for me ($1400).
  9. Parts for Big Guy

Jarrod, take the bearings out. You will have to knock them off a small shaft, be careful not to damage anything. Once you get them off, clean them up and you will see a number on the side of the bearing. Take them to a local bearing distributor and he will look at the number and for about $46 a piece you will up and running in no time. Rebuild kits from the surface cleaner manufactures are such ripoffs.
  10. Low ballers making an impact.

    Now That Was Funny!
  11. Fan fell off

Seems premature to me. I have had blades on the fan come loose, but we're talking many more hours than that. Did you check with your guys to see if they could have bumped it loading something in the trailer.
  12. I dont work of an open trailer anymore, but when I did the rain never affected the machine. We try not to work in a downpour but have from time to time with no ill affects with machine.
  13. Lance, When I downstream I use a Hi/Lo spray tip from spraymart. No changing out tips and can twist the tip to about zero degree for about a 30' reach and 40 degree for up close soaping applications. You may already use this method but if not I think you would like using this tip for your downstreaming. Oh yeah, when you get ready to rinse just push tip down for high pressure rinse. Hope this helps.
  14. 20" stainless steal Whirl A Way with casters. Is this a good surface cleaner? I know its not a Whisper Wash product but for a backup @ $475 I think I might buy, depending on the feedback from you guys. Oh yeah, three nozzle spray bar.
  15. I did buy the surface cleaner and like it so far. The Ground Force is the first off the truck but the 20" WAW is not far behind.
  16. a good hot water skid

That would totally defeat the purpose of a 8gpm machine!
  17. Every Contractor

Thank you Celeste. They are wanting me to come on board right now and just wanted some feed back from others who have used them, thanks again.
  18. When I say grow your business I don't mean picking a few more customers on the next block. I mean opening up another office outside your normal coverage area. 50 miles, 100 miles or even 200 miles away, the miles are irrelevent but you get the point ( beyond your area). Heres my question. Is now the time to bring on a partner or trust your lead crewman? I know a partner would care much more about the business, especially watching it grow versus a lead crewman just wanting to get paid. I can go on and on but I am going to step aside and listen to your thoughts and opinions. I hope to hear back from others who do this now and those who have done it in the past. All opinions welcome.
  19. Growing Your Business

Hey guys thanks for the responses so far. When I say open up another shop, I am simply talking about trying to grab a piece of the market beyond your normal area. I didnt mean for it to sound like I was looking for retail space or a building to lease. John T. had a post a while back about looking for commercial work beyond your normal area, this is basically the same type question. Unfortunate for me beyond normal area means 60 miles or better. That got me to thinking, would another me (partner) in another market be good or bad?
  20. 7 x 14 tandem axle. Made with 2" square tubing. It has a heavy duty ladder rack with a shelf system for holding 3 hose reels. I ran two machines from this trailer along with a 325 gallon tank, I now use an enclosed box truck so I dont need this trailer anymore. It is just over a year old and pulls great, it does have minor surface rust in spots and the paint is rubbed off on some of the boards. Ladder rack is removable or can slide to any size desired. Asking $1100.
  21. Trailer for Sale

I will post some pics if someone can tell me how. I have my pictures stored on my computer E Machine 3985, maybe someone good with computers can help me post some pics.
  22. I am in need of another hot water machine. Wanted to see if anyone has a machine for sale. Looking to buy ASAP. I am looking for a good used machine before I look at new ones.
  23. William, Alcota is all I have ever used and love them. How many hours? What year is it? Most important, what are you asking? Feel free to call me @ 706-306-4791.
  24. Shane, things are going great here in Augusta Ga. I've been doing a few decks but that is really not my bread and butter, but thanks to you I was able to pick up a customer for life. This was the customer with the cyprus house on the lake, turned out great and she just loved it.
  25. Tax time

Jeff, even though the work was done in 05, if you did not recieve the money until 06 you don't claim it until next year.
