Hey guys, When washing a house, do you remove the screens or leave them in? I was under the impression that a house wash was essentially the siding with a quick rinse of the windows. Thanks, JL

so you like to do it 2-3 weeks apart then. I will start with the 2 mailers then if i start to get jobs, add a third and fourth. when would be a good time to market about deck restorations?

the 2000 are going to the same people, i know how it works.

I'm a college student so all i get is summer. My website will be finished by March, and the mailers will be sent out in early April and again in early May. I will be dedicating a lot of time over winter break towards developing a busines plan. I have a bulk of it done already but need to mesh it all together. I also have a 15 week internship at beckman coulter (a scientific lab for a cool $18) for next summer so i think i will only be able to do the work on the weekends and bids in the evening. What would you guys expect for call backs on 2 x1000 mailer? and how many of those call back would you expect to turn into jobs? I have read some earlier post on this topic, but i would like some more resent data/input. Thanks, Joe

Hey guys, I was just wondering what you did for your first method of marketing. I was planning on doing 2 mailers of 1000 each with an emphasis on wood Restoration. I was just curious if you think i should stick with the emphasis on wood or go house wash or put pictures of both on the mailers. Thanks, Joe

What kind of call to action heading would i use for deck/fence restoration. You know something along the lines of "whats eating your roof" call to action. I'd like to hear what you guys come up with for wood restoration.

This is what i was planning on doing. The mailers wouldn't be the selling point, my website will be. I want to filter them fromt he mailer to my website and into the gallery. I want them to have their expectations already fulfilled before they even pick up the phone. Once they see the gallery, they already know what kind of work to expect. Once they see the final product, they are already being sold the service without me even talking to them. I think i am just going to have the restoration on the mailer. Once they get on the webiste, they will be able to see the other services. I agree with mike, there isn't a huge problem with mold up here, but everyone has a deck.

After several concepts and input this is the final product for the shirts. I will add more features to it for the website i think. What do you think? Do you guys like the one with no sparkle, one sparkle, or two sparkles?

Hey guys, This is the new logo i just made from gimp. Tell me what you think. I dont think it is finsihed yet, but i still think it's looking good.

I dont know how to make the PowerWash standout more on the second image. Any advice?

yea I'm using gimp, it took my entire weekend, maybe 30+ hours to learn the dumb thing. It works good for being a free software. I could make a much more complicated and detailed logo, but i don't think it would screen well for shirts, and when i get my truck painted, the guy would probably have a hard time with it. So, I'm going with a more clean, crisp, and simple look.

i kinda like this one, i just need to work on the background a little more, but i like the lettering.
