AFTER initial cleaning, as previously said use stiff brush w/ Bleach and a little water. It won't remove the the entire stain but 99.9% WILL BE gone. May post pics - b/a later

Beth, Looks and sounds as if you'll soon need to start checking out backgrounds of 'Newbie' ppl, like these. With inexperience, any wrong or bad advice either given or taken from the board, may come back to haunt you. samanddallas New here...I don't want to state the obvious but... Pros - Pressure washing a deck (wood or composite) is very efficient and will remove more of the dirt, moss & grime than scrubbing by hand. Depending on how bad the deck is you may or may not need to apply any chemicals.

Look at it as another business expense, pass the cost onto the customer ... Any idea how much the fine or restitution charges would be, for NOT having a permit in hand? That alone may justify the 30 bucks for permit cost.

Anyone ever use Concrete Sealer X-1, wondering if it's as good as they say.

Our co. has been selected to bid on pressure cleaning a vinyl fence for a HOA. It's an exterior clean and a few inside panels, on the perimeter. The issue we have is RE: How To Measure it out ... Some other company's I spoken with said they do it 1 of 3 ways! (1) Square Foot (2) Linear Foot (3) Individual Panel Talk about confusing .... How do each of you measure out your potential fence job? It looks like this fence below but all nasty and totals nearly 1300 feet in length w/ 203 panels.

It's likely happened to anyone of us who are in 'Sales' .. angry Hm Owner's. However, it comes w/ the type of business that we do. Contrary to belief, I've had a great deal of success w/ cold calling door to door and find it to be a very challenging experience. Mind you it's a ratio game of numbers and the more NO's you get, tends to drive me (us) further and further for YES's! I'll add that I was in the "Yellow Pages" for a year and THAT was a TOTAL WASTE OF HARD EARNED $$$$$$

For some of you that may not of know ... What is Sodium Hydroxide? In its pure form, sodium hydroxide takes on the form of flakes or pellets that are a bright white. In this form, the chemical easily absorbs carbon dioxide from any air in the space; this makes it necessary to house the product in a container that is airtight. The fact that that sodium hydroxide is water-soluble helps to make it ideal for use in a number of liquid-based products. This lye compound can be utilized in many different types of products used in the home as well as in manufacturing and other industrial settings. Around the house, there is a good chance that the soaps used for bathing, in the dishwasher and to do laundry contain some amount of sodium hydroxide. Household cleaners for carpeting and tile may also have some trace amounts of the compound as well. The actual amount used in these types of products is very little, making it highly unlikely that contact with the skin will result in some type of irritation. The chemical can also be used in various aspects of food preparation. Produce companies may use a cleaner containing sodium hydroxide to cleanse fruits and vegetables before shipping them to market. It is not unusual for olives to be immersed in the compound as a way of softening the texture slightly. Corn that is ground into grits is soaked in the compound before the kernels are ground. There are a number of products that contain considerably higher amounts of sodium hydroxide. Paint strippers are one example. The high content works very well in weakening the existing coat of pain and allowing it to separate from the wood or metal surface with ease. The chemical also is used to clean large vats and tanks in breweries, since it will loosen and absorb any residue that clings to the interior sides of the vats. In many areas of the world, the compound is mixed with water and used to dissolve the carcasses of animals after all usable parts are harvested for production of food products for humans or animals. The use of sodium hydroxide in many other products is common. Some hair products, such as relaxers, contain small amounts. Drain cleaners often make use of the compound, as it will help dissolve clogs with relative ease. The chemical also helps to bleach pulp to a pristine white, making it essential to the production of many paper products. While the use of sodium hydroxide is widespread, it is important to remember that direct contact with the pure chemical can be extremely damaging to the skin. People who handle the chemical during the manufacturing process or with other applications often wear protective clothing to minimize the chance of exposure. There's a product I used once during new construction on a 40 foot length building, that the backside was brick 3 foot high from the ground up. It produced unbelievable results, if I could only remember the name. I'll try to find it, good luck in the mean time.

As far as product lines go, there are many. Our company proudly uses Sorbo products daily with excellent results ... If there are there any window cleaners in your area, I'd suggest you spend the day with 'em and learn from a professional.

GZ works really well, on bad gutters use bleach first and the GZ.

Clean the joints really well and then use a high grade epoxy sealer.
