Overhauling pressure washer
CNY Hood Cleaning replied to Andrew Bandarovich's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
I would rebuild it on some spare time lets say in the slow time(winter). Much cheaper. I'm going to be rebuilding one of my machines and its a good way to go if you know what your doing... Go for it. :tennis: -

Advice about hot pressure washer equipment
CNY Hood Cleaning replied to bigshark's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
I would stick with a well built pw for hoods. I've owned a Hotsy 555ss before(it's electric/diesel) and it has worked fine for hoods. My PW get a nice work out every week, so buy something that will not break down every week cause it's gonna cost you. -

Venting Burner Through the Roof?
CNY Hood Cleaning replied to Klean Spray's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
got a pic of it or something cause I don't think i've seen it. I have mine threw the roof using the black pipe with a 45. Then I have it insulated so it doesn't get hot in the trailer heat goes up. The exhaust threw the floor. -
You can have a baby seat in the truck only if you turn the airbag off. But Yeah a truck looks soo much better and more professional.

Loss of Pressure?
CNY Hood Cleaning replied to Klean Spray's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
I had it hooked up to a main with good flow(and I used it a week before without issues) I had the hoses flushed before starting the PW. And I used the PW for an hour before I started to get this issue. Then the problem went away. So no air in the house and no juddering in the gun. -

Loss of Pressure?
CNY Hood Cleaning replied to Klean Spray's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
The other night I had my Gas PW started to loose pressure also for about 1/2 hr. It would loose about 200 to 300psi. I noticed that when the gun is pulled it was 200 to 300 below what I set it up to. Then about 5 to 7 seconds goes by and it regains the correct psi while the trigger is pulled. 1/2 hr goes by and everything worked correctly for the rest of the night. The unloader is on the pump. So is it the unloader also? Now I flush the hoses before hooking up to the PW to minimize garbage in the pump. But I do use RV antifreeze in the pump so it won't freeze. -
LOL their not responsible??? Just find a good attorney and stop waisting your time with the owner. And also get them for the lost of work and aggravation.

CNY Hood Cleaning replied to Mountain View's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
General Pumps are the way to go. My 4000 PSI @4Gal Min still runs great.
