  1. Not sure about the thread question..........my Wife won't let me have a Stripper.....and I'm too afraid to ask......Lol!
  2. New Season around the corner

Weather breaks here Weds., we're booked for the next couple of weeks.......Come On Spring!
  3. Newbie question

From your background, you should already have a good idea as far as chems....it's acids, caustics, or bleach.....the job determines what is to be used. I know what "we" should be charging, the question is what should "you" be charging.....I have no answer to that....only you know. It could be as low as $.05 per sq. ft. or as high as $1.00 per sq. ft......depends on the situation & job....many factors play into pricing......Good luck!
  4. Same here Rod........unless it warms up in Feb.....but March is useually when we fire back up. We've got a bit of Commercial work in Dec....Budget Surpluses.
  5. Telescoping wands

Although we needed to rent a lift for this job ($2000.00 a day) just think if we could've done this job with just a shooter tip.......check this out..... https://www.facebook.com/1481593435427740/videos/1629547223965693/
  6. Is 3000psi 2.7 gpm enough?

Actually you can replace that pump with a 5+ gpm pump....psi will drop....but not production
  7. Telescoping wands

Hey Bro, so is $500 + for a lift......No worries 1000+ sold no complaints......saved me and a bunch of other Contractors mucho bucks.
  8. Is 3000psi 2.7 gpm enough?

I think you missed the point......my point was more volume (gpm) = faster production= larger jobs = more profit.....Now compute those yards being 2,3,4 + arces using a push mower vs. a 60"....lets see those numbers?....Lol. $400 a day?...or...$400 an hour? big difference. Moving up is a step in the right direction......and you've found a great machine to do that.
  9. Is 3000psi 2.7 gpm enough?

Just saying, and by no means bragging....We can wash a house that size in about an hour to an hour 1/2....with 1 machine. This was an old thread......but please notice how many posters are still around. What makes more money.......a push mower?.....or 60" zero turn mower??? Set your sights on a 5+ gpm washer......and thank me later........Lol!
  10. Telescoping wands

Oh that's old school, check it out....................https://www.facebook.com/The-Original-Shooter-Tip-1481593435427740/?ref=hl
  11. La,sTotally Awesome Cleaner Degreaser

I guess it depends on your area, but Elemonator is basically all we use in our house wash. I've seen Totally Awesome at Dollar General, but never used it. We use F13 from Pressure Tek for gutter stripes & to boost bleach strength when needed. Adding more surfactant (soap) also means more time rinsing.....for sure a fine line.
  12. Who are your favorite sport teams???

    Thanks.....We Need It!!!......Go Panthers!!!!.....LOL!!!
  13. Who are your favorite sport teams???

    Here's his profile..........http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/a/andrena01.shtml
  14. Who are your favorite sport teams???

Dallas Cowboys Fan......since I was a Kid. Not much for Hockey, so I'd say the Carolina Hurricanes. Absolutely can't stand Pro basketball. Not much for Baseball (even though my Grandad was a Pro Pitcher).......but I do like the Red Sox
  15. As terrible as this was.....I mean come on people......It's common sense!!!!
  16. Cleaning dairy farm

The results may not of been to "Your Liking" but was the customer satisfied? Sometime we expect too much from ourselves.....myself included.
  17. Who uses the "Ladder Saver"

We use a 1/4" 3-way ball valve to switch from soap to rinse. One way pulls soap, switch valve the other way and valve pulls water from buffer tank to automatically rinse injector. Saves time and injector lasts longer.
  18. Really aesome to see good Friends that I haven't seen in so long....Just a great time!
  19. I agree..... Education & a "Plan" come before equipment. Steve the season is almost over for our Northern neighbors so it might be wise to spend the time between now and Spring to educate yourself further on your adventure into business start-up in this Industry.
  20. It was awesome getting to see old friends & online battle mates.....LOL! Great get together, look forward to the next one!!!
  21. I'll see you guys there.....John T....1st beer is on me Brother!
  22. Mucho Prayers for your Wife and Family John!!!! See you Guys & Gals at the DC event.....Then off to the Charleston SC event in Sept.
  23. John, no disrespect intended.....but if the board was doing so good why didn't the BOD support it? Seems to me they would want a place for members & leadership to network & share info.....Strange. I know you put a lot of effort & time in it, I'm sorry that it was closed. On the filpside it could be all the FB PW pages........I've been very disenchanted with that for a while.
  24. Buyer Beware!

Doug, Powerwashstore.com is owned by Paul Kassander. Russ, Paul & Bob are trusted Distributors and good Friends......We only buy from them because of their proven track record of solid Customer Service & Satisfaction........I don't think I've ever read or heard a negative comment about their Businesses. They also do more to support PW Contractors than any other PW'ing Distributors I know of. I've met Larry several times over the years, just a really great Gentleman and super knowledgeable....
