Mike it's the old cliche " don't do as I do do as I say"

Tap a talk is the way to go

We use gutter grenade. We manage the customers expectations by telling them the gutters will be cleaner than they are. We do not tell them the gutters will look like new.

Just another tool in the tool box for washers. Not knowing when or how to use it can get you in trouble.+1
We use one from time to time. Last time we had to remove tar from stamped concrete before sealing.

Come on John it's almost 2013. What's holding you up? Facebook is good for at least $10,000 a year in business.

Been asked what we charge per sq.ft....don't offer that up at all.My answer. We charge enough to cover our operating cost and make a profit.

I talk to a lot of guys around the country. Some I help some are helping me. As far as drawing the line I've never had someone who would be a direct competitor contact me. So my answer would be no training for direct competitors.
I will work with or refer work to people in my area if needed.

I have a 5.5 gpm machine and the 35 gallon buffer works just fine. If you need any bigger than that, than you need to charge clients extra for water delivery - because there are real supply issues atthat point! My only issue is that the traditional float valves that looks like it came out the back of a toilet - allowed me to have water fill right to the top, yet it couldn't hold back any serious muni-supply pressure and the tank would leak from overfilling. The Hudson valve that replaced it, can take the pressure - but you lose like 10 gallons of capacity - and I hate that!
And that's why I use a 65 gal tank. Figure 10 gals less in The tank and another 5 that is in the bottom. I don't haul water I fill my 65 onsite. I never run out once we start washing.

I would go with a 65 gal tank. I tried a 35 and after a couple days I switched to a 65. We use a 5.5 gal machine.

looks great! did you use chemicals or just pressure?Just sprayed house wash solution on it and pressure washed.

Still running the same battery in its third season. Early in the year it wouldn't charge so I bought a charger with a deep cell setting. Haven't had any problems since.

I Downstream 90% of the time. I have a 15 gallon chem tank that I dump 6gal SH+ 11gal of water.5-8 scoops of SC and some dish washing detergent and its go time. I can normally get 3-4 houses cleaned before re filling.
How do you get 17 gals in a 15 gal tank.? And how big are the houses you are washing? We avg 3-5 gals solution on a 2400 sq ft house.

Sorry bylaws for an scorp not operating agreement. The bylaws are what protect your personal assets in an scorp.
-
I filled my S-corp in about an hour and a half with the state of Virginia, all online. Don't know how it is in other states though.Who did your operating agreement? If you don't have an operating agreement, your s corp more than likely does not protect your personal assets. Anyone can file for their own s corp LLC etc. it's having the proper paperwork that requires the legal skills. So even if you are the only shareholder of the s corp. you still need an operating agreement.

I set up my LLC through the state of Tennessee for 300 dollars without Legal Zoom. I have heard many people say good things about Legal Zoom however I went to the state commission website and set it up myself. It was pretty easy.Be careful doing this. If any of your paperwork is flawed. You do not have the protection an llc is intended to provide. You are much better off using an attorney or legal zoom
-
LLC cost vary by state. You can get on legal zoom and check your state. In some states you also have to publish public notices if the formation of your llc this will add to the cost.

are wheels important for a surface cleaner? Not to me. I think they are more of a hindrance on a 20" then a help. When you get into the larger surface cleaners then yes they are important.
How many Gallons?
