My question is why is the nozzle shooting off ? I've never had one come off. Are you checking to make sure it's seated all the way in ? I'm guessing you are using quick connects.

Barry , see if your state has something like PA does. It's called the Self Employment assistance program , it allows you to collect unemployment and start ( run ) your own bussiness. Pa has classes a few hrs a week ( 3 weeks long) at the local community col. I went through the class and they teach you alot. Plus you get the security of 6 mo. unemployment and any income you can make at your own bus. This could give you a taste of full time pwing and if you think it' snot going to work out start looking for a full time job when you have 1-2 mo. left. Let us know how you are doing. Good Luck Scott

I got the vendor discount on my 03 Dodge and with the rebate they had at the time I got my truck for $9k less then sticker :lgmoneyey Now the employee discount that jgoral76 can get would be even lower then the vendor discount I got. Plus you get the 100k mile warrenty on the motor if you buy the CUMMINS and you will get 17 18 mpg while towing the enclosed trailer.

Plus they have 0% financing for 60 mo.'s and if you want no payments until Oct.

Jeff , I've used the F-18 MAX on some drivthrus and it works great.

Jeff , if you need a good used work truck here are some pic's of a buddies truck he is selling. I just stopped today to take the pic's and put it on ebay or post on a few BB's. It's a 97 F350 4x4 with a 7.3 Power Stroke , 74k , tires are 50% , auto trans. He is only selling it because he doesn't drive it. It just sits in the garage. He just built a new house and wants to build a pole building for his tractor and other equipment. This truck is CLEAN he's asking $15,500

you could use the x-jet for the large open areas and put it in a pump up sprayer for doing around the gas pumps and anywere else you need more control on overspray.

What % of the total bid is good for a sub to get ? I am the sub and know what the company charged the customer for the job. I am happy with what I was paid. The job took me 2 hrs and that included 1hr of travel and I made $200. The company is not in the business of washing but servicing the stuff I cleaned. The work is monthly and there is more than this one job. They had one of there service guys bring in his pwer from home and do it but they want to get away from that because they have too much service work now. btw I didn't need any chem.'s or hot water , just cold water rinse.

his trailer is only 1-2 mo.'s old.
-
Jeff , if you want to disable that wheel until you can find out about having it fixed under warranty I can tell ya how to do it.
-
Mike , even on your trailer the wires are split at the trailer and run to each wheel.
-
It's not the plug. The plug supplies power to the all the brakes. There is not a seperate wire to each wheel at the plug. The wiring on the trailer is were it is split to the wheels. It may have a bad magnet to that wheel.
-
Mike , I read the post earlier and thought the same thing. But with it only locking one wheel I don't see how it's the controller unless he is having problems with the other 3 wheels not working. Jeff , if you turn up your controller all the way can you get all the wheels to lockup ?

You should be able to collect unemployment. You payed into it for how many yrs. Now you need it , so start collecting. I lost my job in Feb. of this year. Thats when I started prsuure washing. It has been a good summer but with it starting to slow a little I am needing to find a job because my enemployment is running out. I will not give up the pressure washing I know it takes some time to build up to full time. It just makes you work harder at going full time. Check and see if CT has a program like PA does. It's called the Self-Employment Assistance Program. It allowes you to start a business and still collect unemployment. They provied 54 hrs or class room time at the local comm. college. and teachs you alot of stuff about how to run a business. I went through the program and t has helped alot. My union is still fighting to get my job back also. But it looks like it could take up to or longer than a yr. :( Good luck

I use the cheap hand prime kero pumps. They work good , maybe a little slow but they don't spill fuel on the floor. But I can fill both tanks on my mach. from the side door.:D

Looking for work/leads - Balto area
flimmy replied to Lou Beach's topic in Contractor Help Wanted - Job Leads
Lou , invest in a surface cleaner. It will save you ALOT of time when doing these shops. Ask Dan , owner of First Impressions. I helped him on a few jobs and he has helped me and after using my surface cleaner he bought one. -
