Unloader partially bypassing

Mike it sounds like you might have a restriction in your coil. I thought in an earlier post you had bypassed it and had the same problem thats why I didn't mention it.The same thing happened to mine and I just clean the coils.I now have a quick connect on my coil and only run water through it when I use Hot water.Also the K-7's are very pressure sensitive if you have worn tips or the wrong ones it can affect it. -
...hmmmm...is your injector rated for this? Most common injectors are rated for 3-5gpms...just a thought. Rod~ They make a 5-8 gpm injector.

Anything over 150 to 200 you have to go down a size smaller oriface so it will draw your chemical. You might need to go down to a 2-3 gpm oriface to draw 300'ft of hose.

I downstream everything with 300' of hose and rarely have problems.

Jeff I have 2 of the 18" electrics with 300' on each with plenty of room to spare.I had 400' with room to spare but very rarely do I need over 300'. -

I have not had any issues with the 12volt system (knock on wood).I keep my battery charged with a 50 amp system from vanguard.

I oddly enough had the same problem mine melted the hour meter and the fuse holder.I replaced mine with a 30a fuse holder and new hour meter and have not had a problem since that was 10 months ago.When I worked there I mentioned to them that it wasn't enough amperage fuse and (well) I was right.lol:) :)

Tank bypass question

Hello Neil,you will need to change the unloader.The one you have there has the bypass built in to it. -

Theres a comedian in every crowd.Just remember every gallon I go through the faster and more efficent we are cleaning. When all said and done the faster we clean = more jobs done in a day = more money for momma to buy more shoes.lol

How much cheaper I wouldn't think its that much but the higher gpm pump is more expensive.There isn't much difference in price for a 20 hp and a 24 hp motor.

I have 2 ads in the blue book and they want a 2 year comitment.I have a 1/2 page ad in south florida and 1/4 page in north florida.The ads cost me $240.00 a month.I have gotten several calls from the ads and have put in some big proposals but have yet to land one.I think if your wanting to get into commercial work and large jobs its a good way to get your name out there.Hopefully after the 2 year commitment I will be busy enough not to have that monthly thorn poking me in the side. my .02 worth

The first thing you should know is the formula for figuring out what horsepower is required to run the specs your looking for. gpm x p.s.i. divided by 1100 for gas 1400 for electric motor.that will tell you the horepower you will need to run your desired gpm and pressure. Imo I would go with higher gpm unless your stripping paint you won't need pressures higher than 3000. I run a 10 gpm hot water and a 8.5 cold water.They run anywhere from 2800 to 3200 psi.The majority of the time I clean with less than 1500 psi.

I tried using an x-jet with 200' of 3/8 hose hooked to a 3.0 gpm shureflo and it worked out well.It was a better option than carrying buckets or a roll around cart.Unfortunately the x-jet just doesn't work out well for me but some people love them.I am a downstreamer guy.

I went through 2 hurricanes last year and when workers came to help out man I fed them and gave them water, man I so happy to see them.WTF are these people thinking.Ok somebody please help me out.Somebody please justify this.I am so pissed off right now maybe because I am a paramedic and I have friends on their way to help.I have to breathe,relax.1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10.This is worst than looting I hope they killed everyone of those M***** F****** that were shooting.I can not imagine during 9-11 that people coming to help would be shot at come the F*** on.I am beyond myself.
