Shopper Just Called !
PWkid replied to Apple Roof Cleaning's question in Residential Pressure Washing
I get those calls all of the time. I would help them if they would be honest with me. Most of the time they call and ask how much I charge on an average size house. It usually is their wife or girlfriend,I had a lady onetime tell me she needed a price for a house but her husband did not want her to tell me the address. I laughed and said good luck in your business venture its tough out here and hung up.lol -
Ron we will teach him how to spell friend when he gets here. lol
-
I am not sure what Don Phelps has to do with this. That may be part of my confusion.
-
Beth I am glad you still have your sense of humor after all the BS TGS has to put up with.
-
I am not sure at this time Beth. sorry
-
I really just wanted Ron to slow down a bit and correct some of the SIMPLE words he misspells. Some of the time We can not understand what he is typing. I am not perfect by no means and never have claimed to be. I am educated but not an english professor. It seems like something else is going on here. There is no Florida conspiracy that I know of,unless I am not in the loop.
-
Hmmmmm now I am confused? It's ok, I am confused a lot.
-
Thanks for the corrections Mike they mean a lot coming from you. Refer to post #47. I am not sure where this grammar issue keeps coming up. I will say this AGAIN it is not about GRAMMAR it is about misspelled words and not caring about it.
-
Beth as usual you are right.
-
I know I am not perfect and have never claimed to be perfect. Thanks Rick for going through all my posts in this thread and finding livelihood misspelled. I am quite sure that is not the only word that I have misspelled. We all make mistakes, and I would think we all try and learn from them. I don't think the misspelling of words was my point,or a grammar issue, it was the constant misspelling of simple words and the lack of giving a sh** about it. I did not think of it as an attack. It was more of an annoyance to me,with that being said, I will take Ricks advice and walk softly.

This guy sounds awesome! I was blown away. I guess I am showing my age. This is for all you Journey fans.
-
Ok Ron you win.
-
I am done, RON ********** You can do Whatever you feel is the best for our INDUSTRY. Somehow you or whoever you have working for you have convinced Certain people you are educated enough to do their concrete just not educated enough to communicate or type them a letter to them that they can UNDERSTAND. LOL (UNREAL). ARRRGGGGGHHHH
-
Ron it REALLY is not about your SPELLING it is the way you CARRY yourself TRYING to represent our industry and trying to convince Billion Dollar a year companies to USE the PEOPLE YOU SAY ARE PROFESSIONAL COMPANIES. Come on Ron THIS is business 101 not roof cleaning 101. lol
-
Ron at least email would be private and not read by potential important people. I am not saying that I am better than you and obviously you are more successful than I am. I am not sure if you guys are aware but there are some serious hacks out there under bidding, working for beer money. I would hope that WE represent ourselves better than the, (Oh I just bought a pressure washer from wal-mart and I am in business people). Ron I really don't mean to pick on you for your misspelling issue but when I read some of your post it sounds like you are an uneducated pressure cleaning company which WE all know you are not. I LOVE YA RON.
-
LMAO In one ear and out of the other. I would expect nothing less.
-
Ron I am done trying to tell you that people in our industry REALLY do read OUR posts. I am sure that if they find a PRESSURE WASHING INSTITUTE CEO Spelling the way you do they would not even consider the company. (at least I wouldn't). So Mr. Ron ********** take it for what it is worth. (Plaese stpo triygn ot rerpestn teh inudsrty fi ouy cnt'a ta laets commnuiceat wiht seim intlelignta poelpe). Sometimes Ron that is what it is like reading your posts.
-
Actually you should try to represent our industry as professional anytime you can Ron, Even at the ***, the last word is Institute. I am sure at the *** you make sure that everyone can Pressure Wash and are educated LIKE an Institute should be. I know if I would put my name, reputation, and livelyhood on the line, I would make sure that the people that represent (including the CEO) the PRESSURE WASHING INSTITUTE or (Pressure Wash PROS) would show up at my Door knowing how to portray themselves as PROFESSIONALS.
-
Beth, can you have spell check, for the people who think they are leaders in our field and continually have problems misspelling very simple words, that my 1st grader can spell. Good God I really hope a major CEO of a company does not read some of the threads that are portrayed in our INDUSTRY. My God Cleaner Times Editors would have a field day. Ron FREIND is spelled FRIEND. I am by no means an English professor but I would love that one day OUR profession be taken seriously and if educated people read some of the post they will Stop reading after the HEADLINE. FREIND (SWEET MOSES)

I would hope the water jet,has improved the equipment they sell since 2002 that was 5 years ago. A lot has changed in the industry since then. I am a firm believer in sticking with what works best, but a lot can change in 5 YEARS.

Ron very good info, I trade services all the time but it got to the point (with my business) I can only use so much free food. I used to do TGIF for a $50.00 gift certificate and another radio station guy for free food or whatever he was going to promo that week. Well long story short it got the point that I realized very quickly that I can't buy gas, pay labor, buy chemical or equipment with these. I will do small one time jobs with gift certificates. It takes good ole cash to run a business and pay bills. I wish the electric company would take a gift certificate for my bill with them but unfortunately they don't. Nice you tube video buy the way. I need to talk to you one day when you get a minute I have a chain that wants a one time cleaning and I need to convert them to a maintenance.

answering client's "environmental" questions
PWkid replied to soluble solutions's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Ron I owe you an apology. I should have given you more respect. You have been doing this for a long time and if a gentleman of your experience says you can clean concrete with potatoes I should have kept my mouth shut and respected you more. I am truly sorry. -

Mel, you suggestion that I'm agaisnt you guys and your roof chems is ridiculous. I have many freinds that clean i would imagine the same way you do. Ron, where in the world did this come from. This has nothing to do with roof cleaning or roof cleaning chemicals. You say I need to go back to school and study communications? Now I am really confused. Ron my eyes have been opened for some time now they may not see what you see but they are definately open. -

Ron I hope you don't take this as an attack. I am too old to be attacking people lol. I would however love for you too think about what and how your responding to people in these bbs. You never know who might be reading these.
