PWNA was ask to make another presentation at the MS4 Conference Regional 6
Adrian replied to Jim Gamble's topic in PWNA News, Events, and Information
Hey "Los, good to see you. Been a while. A big plus to your time and efforts. Actually almost was influenced to join at one point because of you. But, have realized that if I joined an org, that I would lose my rebel/ maverick monniker, which personally at this point I am oppposed to. Kidding of course. good to see you 'Los. Heard about that fire on the freeway bro. Right on. You are the man. carry on with the smoke and mirrors............ Um.....ha.........ha -
He's a stand up guy for sure Ron, all of you guys are. Im just curious why you guys don't ever think about branding yourselves. You know... become an industry name like " Coca Cola from Atlanta Georgia". You guys should let people know who you are, you never mention your names nearly enough, and where you are from. People need to know. You definately need to brand yourselves more. Maybe even get a branding bot. I mean how do ever expect to make it in this business if you dont tell the people who you are and where you are from? Really!!!!

Vinyl siding issue, This is a good one...
Adrian replied to ptprowash's question in Residential Pressure Washing
For the future. As an upsell, and to avoid this problem. Douche a heavy application of carnuba wax on the vinyl immediately after the cleaning. It doesnt matter how you apply it thru xjext or dedicated pump whatever. It's not comet proof but, it will hold a sheen on the vinyl for quit a while. plus..... like I mentioned... it's a great upsell. -

Wood guys in MN might want to read what Pollution control wants them doing!!
Adrian replied to Ron Musgraves's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Honestly Ron, I'm not on the forums much anymore to see what events are going on. Likewise to meet you in person as well though. Me personally am "no soy pero" anyway you look at it. So threads like this just keep me running in the other direction. Which is sad because you two have so much to offer. The theme seems to always be the same, no matter what the topic, always turns into a sausage fest. Speaking for myself only, after a decade of this bickering it starts to be a time waster for me. Respectfully, though your efforts are graciously appreciated on both, but never are you guys on the same page. It just does us other no name grunts a bit of good when we see the same conflict thread to thread. However if there is BBQ I could be convinced possibly..... Bring Jim too.... I'll sell tickets and get a sexy girl to hold the card and walk around in a bikini that lets you know what round it is. -
Stain issues for you "Woodies" out there
Adrian replied to John T's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Wood does suck sometimes John. That's why there is a PITA rate matrix for some of the hassles we make look easy. I like your idea of getting more products in your local stores. However, if you do pull off that type of marriage between the dist. and the locals be sure you get your do discount. Because they will make tons of money off of your union between the 2. I also agree with Charlie, about online ordering as well. Lots of discounts and free shipping when internet is used exclusively. However if you want the best customer service, I'll bet you a New York meatball sandwich that Shane would personally deliver product to your door. He's "almost" that committed. -

Not that those don't look great, don't get me wrong. It really is a no hassle stain. -

Adrian replied to John T's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
John,.... sorry if my input is bad. All these " long drying" stains and special conditions with the stains you are using seems rather cumbersome sir!!!!! Call Shane and see if his product is compliant in your state. Those shakes are a piece of cake with BGA, brother. -

How should my old/new wood deck be prepped for stain?
Adrian replied to cstleddy's topic in DIY'ers - Ask The Pro's
Your new wood has to " breathe" a few months, so you have time to prep and neutralize the old wood before applying stain. There still maybe some tonal difference between the new and old wood, however, it will be less noticable when stain is applied. Aslong as the new wood has weathered a bit to recieve the stain, you'll be in good shape. -
I like you...... but not facebook. Big brother you know, always watching.

A new head design, Model 4000
Adrian posted a question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
A new HVLP head design for The Breeze Brush. Not a "final" by any means. A work in progress. Withstands 150 psi which should suffice for the contractors. ( not that anyone in their right mind would apply stain with that much psi ). Video is very "vague", however take note of the coverage area in 43 seconds. There are many more "mods" that have been added to the pole assembly / delivery system as well that are not in the video. Winds were at 15-20mph. Shane was the contractor in the video using the brush and he really liked it and gave it a big thumbs up. I welcome any design feedback. Just a quick glance for you....... It's on YT, Chris. However I have already had the funeral service and eulogy for this product. It is a good product and it made alot of people quicker money. Even my lawyer. I just use it for myself though. I thinking about buying a bunch of ocean containers and converting them to "Bug out" shelters and selling them to the public after converstion. Might as well profit from the end of the world hoopla. lol. -
