  1. Residential Wash

That whole street would have been a bricklayers dream come true. It seemed like the entire neighborhood was "leaning" due to settling issues.
  2. Residential Wash

Just a regular housewash mix, Rick. I made it a little hotter with a little extra psi dialed up to tackle the black stuff. I didn't use any chem on the driveway. Didn't really need it. It came out ok for 30 plus year old driveway.

  5. Trails in the sky.

I'm about 15 min. from George Bush International airport. So I see alot of "course changes'' on final approaches, which is pretty cool. These guys usually just drop out of the sky and fall right into the finals pattern like real pros. This cat in the picture never even finaled at IAH. Just a big couple of circles then back on course, then out of site. Clear skies, no traffic, visibility had to be at least 20 miles. The FAA simply made this guy make loops, then jump through. Not saying this is any kind of con/chemtrails conspiracy *** with aliens thing. I'm just thinking that the guy in the Flight Tower's coffee might have been a bit too strong.
  6. Residential Wash

Lots of brick here Larry. The sad thing is that once all of the "black" was washed away, it revealed some nasty foundation settling cracks. If it is not addressed soon, the chimney will actually just topple over. Customer was very happy with the cleaning. He just was not happy about what the cleaning revealed.
  7. Duncan Hines Dark Chocolate cake icing mixed w/ Dark brown RS. Kidding of course. It is DB mixed with some Tropical SCD / gold. I think this one will take a couple of weeks, maybe even a month or so, to totally "lean" out and soak in. It's dark.
  8. I always load the pics backwards.

  12. Sodium Hypochlorite shelf life ?

Keep it covered from direct sunlight in an approved "UV" protected tank ( dark blue ) and in a cool place. It should last a while. It may not keep it's original %, but should last a while. Or sell another resi wash and just use it up.
  13. Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude how are you?

  14. Whoa!!!!!! Slow down Kevin. Nobody thinks you are a jerk. Nobody is slamming you. ( so far, you have seen everyone's good side. Let's keep that "side" rolling) I'm a simple guy, so , here goes. You did come to one of the bbs that has alot of experienced "woodies". We know our products. We trust our products because that is what works for us. Through trial and error we have found that "particular" helps us maintain our professionalism. Imagine if you walked into a dentist' office with your "new brand" of toothbrush and said " I don't need your services anymore Dr., I have this new toothbrush". The dentist will most certainly not agree with you. Because of maintainance issues. I.E. root canals, fillings, crowns yadda. Just having the toothbrush does not make you ( or new product ) an oral surgeon. My point is that all of these contractors (myself included) have racked our brains finding the perfect processes to apply the right stain for the applicable job. There is even a contractor on this site that has been doing comparrison experiments ( ongoing for a few years now) on how a particular product he uses vs. others hold up over the years. And he did not just use one or two products. He used a bunch. It's sort of hard for me ( or us ) to put 100% belief in a product we have never used or seen before. Like mentioned earlier in the thread, if it is a worthy product, it will have been mention and used here. This could very well be your chance to prove your product. Start a timed experiment such as our other contractors have. Let us know the outcome. Post pictures and videos of the product. Let's try not to be so defensive ( or as some may view it offensive.) Let's holster our sidearms and step back and re-approach your delivery of this product. Give us some proof of your claims. Over time, with pictures, and videos or anything to back up your product. We will be happy to give it the "once over" Most here, Kevin, are sure of the products they use. That's what helps them stay in business year after year. Or even decades. This product may actually be the "new wave" of stains, but, right now, I doubt it. Because there is no proof or time documentation to back it up. Let's not go into the science lab and tell Mr. Hawking (Beth) that the moon is made of cheese until we can prove it. Oh..... by the way. Welcome to TGS.
  15. First recommendation would be to go to your profile and complete your signature line. House rule #1. I doubt that you will find any Honda 13hp w/4gpm anywhere brand new for 1k. You will have to find one used for your budget target or "up" your spending to more than 1k. Try Craigslist, or search "the bargain Basement" ( on this BBS ) there are 1000's of units for sale 2nd hand with your budget. Welcome to TGS.
  16. Don't get this gun from Northern. I have used it only 50-75 times. The trigger handle just popped off on the first squeeze this morning. I know I might be considered cheap, but this is ridiculus. I should have gotten alot more use out of this gun. Even a few more years worth of use. It was no more abused than any other of my guns in the normal operation of "things". I like using the gun to shoot the chems but this one just crapped out on me. I 'll post a pic so you know what not to get at Northern when in a pinch. ..... and yes I know I have a cruddy looking work bench. Buyer beware.
