Make sure the big arse bee the size of a golf ball with a very bad attitude doesn't stay inside of your hat after you swat at him. ...... and don't run like a girl when you find out he did. At least it wasn't another snake ( bright side, silver lining, whatever). Geez, what a day, what a week. "Peace Through Sonic Distortion" "Have a great weekend" " I LOVE MY X JET "

Hurricane Brush / 2 Thumbs up

You would probably have to switch out the quick connect coupler on it Jon. It is trigger activated of course. The psi setting on my deckster pump is usually at 25-30 psi. through the regulator. It is made for the deckster, but , that doesn't mean that you can't make one for a whole lot less for a shurflo setup. I really like mine and have plans on wearing it out. -
Hurricane Brush / 2 Thumbs up
Adrian replied to Adrian's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
It's a pole fed brush that hooks up to the deckster hose. It pushes stain through tips inside the brush. Works pretty good. -
To me Rick, that seems high. I get 30 lb. bags of beads for 30.00 and some change. It makes a lot more than 5 gallons. A whole lot more.

Glad it worked out ok for you. I know you just got it and haven't been using it that long. Got to expect little crap like that I guess. I have re-routed a few lines and wires on the deckster as well. Improvements in my opinion. Glad it is still working out for you.

Rick, the magnum already broke???????? How? Was it your fault or the design of it? Curious. Easy fix?????

You shouldn't have left your flyer on Lighning Gene's door. He hates that kind of stuff. Kidding. Some people are just " Richard Heads" that way. Carry on.

Pretty cool article Jul/Aug in "Painting and Wallcovering Contractor" magazine. There is also a sub article within the main article. The article's are about wood species/ cleaning/ restoration. Our beloved Rick P. Jim F. Steve C. and even me. ;) , are featured in the articles. pg.22-25 ( I tried to talk about guitars and Cindy Crawford, but they wouldn't have it ) It is a great article......... and a real honor (in my world)to be mentioned along side of you guys. Painting and Wallcovering Contractor Magazine - PWC (not sure if they have Aug posted yet) -

Whoa , Didn't mean to cause a stir. At the end of the article it says " Adapted with permission from Cleaner Times" Vol. 20 No. 5. Plus there were my contributions as I have no association with CT. and never did an article with them. So it must have been from your previous article. But it says " with permission" from CT. I will let you guys deal with legalities involved, if any. Personally I think it's cool to have my company name in a national mag. Your's too. The info from everyone was professional and very helpful to any "Painter" trying to learn wood resto. I thought maybe they approached you guys as they did me. Brett called and asked if he could send me an interview for his magazine, and, I said, sure man. Free company exposure, sure, why not. Shameless self promotion, sure , why not. Free ninety free. I'll take the plug. My info , that I shared was pretty much what I picked up from you guys and Shane along the way. Can't go wrong with that info over the years. I liked the article. It made everyone look really good, knowledgable, and professional for our industry. A good representation. -
Clearly the spots on this resi were removed. Clearly. ( before and after pics show this fact) Customers states that the spots came back not long after the cleaning. ( maybe a week). I think it is some sort of mud nest building insect that has targeted this customers house because of the planks design which leaves a gap for entry into the inside of the roof area. His place had various assortment of "critters" running around the property. OR: it could be something entirely different. The customer is NOT upset with my service, however he is just as confused as I am about the spots returning. Initially, the texture of the spots felt as if they were mud and bonded to the surface. However they also look like ariel splatters. Any ideas?

Noted Rick: I certainly won't miss the cramping hand joints from the pad sander. -

Rick, that looks like it would fit pretty good in between the post'. A real time saver I bet. Would the pads fit on an orbital auto buffer? -

If there is a big enough space between them, i'll use my mouse sander. If not, elbow grease, and a pad sander, or even worse, a strip of sandpaper shoeshine style. -
1st time scenario / spots came back.
Adrian replied to Adrian's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Thanks alot guys. I have given this suggestion to my customer. Again, he is not upset with the cleaning project at all. Just baffled as to why the spots have returned. When I cleaned his resi, I actually felt the surface afterward with my hand, and it was as smooth as glass with no debris left behind. He is very appreciative ( sp?) of your suggestions as well. We agreed that he should at least first consult an exterminator to identify and confirm the cause. Thanks again
