Haven't tried it. Most use their own housewash mix according to whatever strength is needed for each particular house. Mainly consist' of 12% SH water , and simple cherry, soap etc. as an additive or surfactant for cling on vertical surfaces. While you are here, please go to your "settings" and complete your signature line. It's required. Welcome to TGS.

Todd, That is a bad deal. Texting SUX and people who text and drive should be dealt with on a very extreme level. You are lucky you were away from the truck. Suggestion: I always collect cones from the side of the road or highway if they are obviously stray cones. I have a ton of them and I use them always. Alot more than one cone though. Many, like 5 for a resi setup. I make sure they see my gear and cones. It cost' my company nothing to pick up stray cones, and the money it saves and protection ( visual) it allows is priceless. Yep, I'm cheap, I pick them up off of the street. But it is worth it in the long run.

Anybody else "spruce" them up?
-
I hope it does help sell the home. The customer who is based in San Antonio has a couple more just like it. He was really happy with the outcome. So I will have more washes from him.

That's great Scott.
-
Possibly. They may sell quart sizes for auto detailing that is liquid.
-
Oh they were "actually charged" for the driveway. I was specifically talking about the crown at the end of the driveway as an accent.
-
If no luck, ask the owner of the local car wash to sell you a couple gallons from his supply.

Northern Tool has gallon jugs of carnuba for around 14.00. Got one of those close by?

5th yr Pete already? 8 in May for me. WOW!!!! Yeah, I'm still cranking them out Pete. My body is KILLING me. Alot of waysides here as well. Not worth the time of day. All the help from last year are no longer interested in the biz. All the help so far this year has turned out less than helpful. "Bowl of stupid for breakfast" contractors. Who needs that? I have just been pushing them out one by one. Close one schedule one. Lots of fun jobs so far this year , but like I said, my bones are aching. Both of my hands have "trigger trauma" By the way Pete, do you service Castle Hills North of Carrolton?

Residential Concrete Chemicals...What Do You Use?
Adrian replied to propressurewashing's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Well, like I said. Harcros is 1.75 per gal. Minimum 55g drum. Well worth it. The strength is more like 15%. -
The customers always enjoy these extras. It usually only takes a couple of extra seconds to do this.

Resi's wood and flatwork. And don't forget the ever so popular "I having a garden party" this weekend but hasn't been cleaned since the '90's. ...........and the subs are letting me down. Really bad. That sucks!!!!! In the biggest way. I CAN NOT BELIEVE THE EXCUSES I AM HEARING. Unreal. You think I would have learned a long time ago. College kids for Summer work with no drive for anything but beer have proven more reliable. I don't like employee's though. And now I don't like "subs". They are starting to take the "fun" out of it for me. Oh, and the wedding ring flew off my finger this afternoon on a jobsite. But "HEY the house looks just spiffy" I've just recently married for the first time and I feel like CRAAAAAAAAAAP for losing the ring. Another happy customer. Please kill me.

Are you going out of business or upgrading? -
Busy enough for subs. Growth or no.
Adrian replied to Adrian's question in Residential Pressure Washing
That's great advice as always. Nice call, 2 - 3 days max if it is wood resto. Couple of points. I have pretty much traded original career paths for my current path of wood and resi's and UPSELLS. For me, The wood is always where it's been for me after a few uncomfortable yrs. Good money in wood. It's definately an accuired skill that not every one can pull off. I see alot of crap work out there that I fix and make right. The music path,.... well, sometimes you gotta just face the music. It's still a very distant but fading path. No more playing in clubs for this kid though. I actually do work after 1 in the afternoon alot more than I let on. The ship is rowing fulltime now, hence the issues with subs and helpers. When processes aren't followed (by subs and helpers) the ship starts taking on water. If they would follow simple instructions there would be alot less headaches and tarnished relationships. .......man I miss my wedding ring. It felt...........right. -
2010 Deck Pricing
Adrian replied to detailbarn's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Materials ( RS) just went up in price and so did my strippers and brighteners. So did my rates. -
Busy enough for subs. Growth or no.

My wife is so cool and understanding about it, but feels bad that I am in a slump over it. She's great!!!! So Scott, Should I just be like one of the "elitest'" and just stay booked for the future? You know. One job at a time mentality and cater to the upper tiers. Charge more for the garden party deadline now that they are starting to spend? Work less. Should I try and take everything that comes my way? Fall behind trusting "subs" ( because of my backlog) and their B.S. , splash and dash, wet and jet. Grab the $$$$$ risk quality. That's not really me though. Or my mentality. AHHHHHHHGGGGGG. I mean, I work on my days off from working. Ugh. I think I have pretty much convinved myself, no more helpers or subs. Thus creating a backlog along with "damage control" from the ever so reliable subs. Who has time for this crap? -
That's funny. Iron Maiden. That effing rox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What I do love is your nickname. Of course I love my xjet. Especially when discussing politics, heh heh!!!!
