  3. JoMax from Lowes

Jomax ( IMO ) is next to crap. Way too slow. Use 12% SH from your local distributor, and a soap mix. It will serve you much quicker. Also, pretty much anything you use incorrectly will harm plants. Pre- rinse, rinse during, and rinse after and the plants will be fine. 5. Residential Concrete Chemicals...What Do You Use?

Daniel, I mentioned to you once about "Harcos" for 12%. Spray your driveway with it after the initial cleaning. But not so heavy that it runs down drains on the street. Just enough to cover the surface area. Let it do it's magic and you're done. I also mentioned that you are welcome to contact me anytime if I can help in any way.
  6. Who's getting slammed

Busy here, and actually breaking my own cardinal rule of not working past 1 o'clock in the afternoon
  7. Watch Atlanta LIVE!!!!!!!!!

The live feeds are GREAT!!!!!! Second to actually being at a RT. Cool of you. Thanks Ron.
  8. Nappy meaning nasty.
  9. Here's a Nappy one.

HOA violations are sometimes the only thing that lights the fire and gets them moving. It's actually a good thing IMO that the HOA at least try to keep a respectable looking neighborhood. On the other hand it could also contribute to rising HOA fee's . UGH!!!. I would really rather do a rebuild on the deck because cleaning it would only show the damage from the tree more clearly.
  10. Here's a Nappy one.

The tree growth is lifting the foundation of the deck on the spa side. Seperating the structure. It really needs some TLC from ABC.
  11. Here's a Nappy one.

I actually have an estimate for them for a rebuild. But knowing this customer, it may be a while. I really like selling the rebuilds, because it will have to be stained in a few months after the install.$$$
  12. Here's a Nappy one.

I get upsells all the time. This particular customer is........ should I say, on a limited budget. It was only because of the HOA that was citing the neighborhood. I like HOA violations. In and out. I' m landing alot of upsells by weaving in the driveway cleanings.
  13. Remove fuel oil spill from cement

You are right about Easy Off Beth. It contains sodium hydroxide and may take a couple of applications. I have suggested Easy Off to D.I.Yer's and oil stains on concrete for the fact that the hydroxide cuts the oil and grease. They thought I was nuts until they tried it and it worked. But it may take a couple of try's. I have never mentioned it here because you folks might think i'm nuts. But it does work. It works great for the ( ryhmes with weapos... who don't want my services ). But we all know hydrox in bulk is the way to go. Definately wear the respirator.
  14. Brian when you ask what "sealant" to use. You don't mean just clear seal, correct? I would definately lean the customer towards "pigment". The shakes would seem way to bright after neutralizating and applying clear seal.
  15. Here's a Nappy one.

I should probably try to sell them a deck wash as well. Or maybe another ten years and it will be ready for a washing.

This is a before pic for the post above

  18. Oops uploaded the pics in the wrong order. Oh well Front entryway, pretty old, maybe it will last awhile with RS Dk. Red. It drank 2 gallons easy.
  19. My hose on the deckster is 50 ft. and holds exactly one gallon. The wood took 2 and could have taken more IMO. Flushing the line to get that last gallon is a gamble sometimes. But, I was scratching my head trying to remember where I put the brush.
  20. Residential House wash

Thx. The 2nd resi is decieving. It looks like a Hardie Plank finish. However it is called masonite. Very cheap material to build with and it doesn't hold up long at all. I think the only thing holding it together was the paint itself. A good selling point for a "low pressure" wash.
  21. Customer is pleased with it. Enough to give me the 10x20 deck (wooden patio) re-build in the back yard. His resi is the only one on the entire street with wooden entryways and wooden patio ( exit). I'll take it, however, the re-build may atcually have me working past 1:00 in the afternoon. That's sacreligious!!!!!!!!!!
  22. No overtime on this one for sure.
  23. Thx. I have a total of 2.5 hrs. in the resto. Naoh ( weak) and ox to brighten. RS Dk. Red for stain, pushpad, didn't spray this one (or Rick P. would have a field day with me).
