In most cases ( if not all) you will need to go through your local water district to rent / pay deposit for a meter with the proper adapter for your supply. I have done this in ATL where they monitor heavily, and supply all the needed adapters.

This happened with a bread store chain I had in ATL. Really sux trying to collect after the fact. Like pulling teeth at the time.

Locally I am hooked up with a fencing contractor, a painter, a G.C., a handyman, and a few other PW contractors for "beyond" service areas or repairs that I don't want to smash my thumb on.

Reeds Deck & Fence Care
Adrian replied to big mike's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
I saw Shane about 2 or 3 months ago. He's still working for Marty, but also doing some pc work on the side I believe. He was a bit anti social. And I say that lightly. I was on a bid in his area and stopped by to pay a long overdue visit. He does know his wood. I'll give him that. I picked up alot from Reed's post' as well. He does great work. I just believe like all of us from time to time they need a break from the forums. -
A wood project I am currently on with alot of knots. ...btw, those plants were already dead for the winter. Not my doing ;) I started it yesterday 12/31.

I Wood Knot !!!!
Adrian replied to Adrian's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Lyle, it was 900 sq. ft. give or take. I used 7 gal to the last drop of Dark Red. I guess the down side was that ( like the title) all of the wood knots soaked through to the other sides of the neighbor's fence. No complaints, but the RS really does penetrate on those "lean" fences. Who knows, maybe it will lead to more work from the neighbors. It's happened before. -

After pics. Very odd this time of the year people wanting their fences stained when it is so cold outside. I have another one to prep and it is hovering around 35 today. But I will get it started at least and wait for the 40's/50's again to spray it. -

I forgot to come back and post these. These pics are after the ox treatment. -
Brian, As a DIYer, you should at the very least get a cheap 1.50 air mattress and a few sand bags and block up the drain while you clean. Your runoff will reach 1/2 way down the street to the nearest drain, I promise. In reality, a smaller gpm and lower psi will actually use more water than a larger unit would. Because it will work much slower and longer, overall using more water that will runoff to your drain unless diverted or captured. If the "right" compliancy officer was to happen your way, it could be very costly.

I always think about you guys in Jan and Feb when we are already breaking a sweat. Gotta admit though it has been a crazy winter so far. One day it snowed in Houston and the next it's 65 degrees. -
....but good reasoning held me back. Married life is great.
