  1. Yay Pain.

Rick, Ive had both types now. I can say that the angle I hit my arm at, I was lucky. However, ( at that angle) I still love my xjet over hydroxide burns anyday. Different angle would be a different story. That was just a graze. I'm an (X) EMT and that training came in handy. Quick sleeve wrap and back at it. Yay pain !!!!

  3. Yay Pain.

I should have showed it to you Shane when I was there. Definately left a scar. Saw myself stepping down into a pile of labrador chizz and corrected on the way down to overstep it. While pushnig the chem dolly I hit the trigger, and the line was full of 12%. It's looking much better. Never again will I be reserved about asking the rich folk to clean up after their dogs before the project begins. Yay pain !!!

  6. R.C. Crate and ship. 25.00-30.00 they will metal strap it to your trailer with a banding machine and attach kleating to it. Worth a shot. I've done it before on a small trailer and it didn't budge for yrs.

Need pics to see what the "nightmare" looks like. Prep it, then stick with the same product...... or Strip it and do it how you know how to do it, with the products you have worked with before. otherwise if you just don't "feel it" for the project, then post number 3 is for you. Welcome to TGS, please add your signature line so we know who we are talking to.

It's tribes and villages John. Sir Richard Bransons success was built on several failures. ( Well, you know what I mean ). We ALL need help from time to time. If one strikes you down, go to the next. Personally, I've always been humbled when new startups seek help from me. The way I see it is that everyman is entitled to his own destiny ( not to be confused with "self-entitlement ). If that destiny consist' of charging people for your knowledge or freely giving it away in the name of "good stewardship". Sobeit. The price of anybody's chosen destination is certainly "paid for" along the way with either positive or negative knowledge and results. Good thread..... Both sides of the brain indeed.
  10. I'll be glad when the day comes that a stain is developed ( that works) that can be sprayed same day after stripping.

  13. Belly tarps under the platform. OR air matresses with your tarps drapped over them to capture run off. Boom Train of oil socks around the perimeter.(coral it) pull ashore and bag it. Or there is the possibility of (soy Gel) applied on day one and lifted off with low pressure and scraping tools on day two. The mesh fabric construction screens are great for trapping that gunk. Just make sure your BMP's line up with your locals pre-req's if not, it may be better to seeks other options.

  19. Wooden Docks

Rick, I freaking love that second picture. Awesome work, as always. ( I know thats really a spacesuit Bro) Yep, Allison I have quiet a few water projects under my belt. Most folks cringe at docks and marinas. I love docks but join the cringers on the marinas. Think in terms of clearing a parking lot on water or do a heck of alot of tarping. ugh!!! Tons of challenges. If you want to send the interview questions to my email as before on the deck resto interview. I ll do my best to answer them. Maybe we can even field a few questions to Shane ( as I know he is biting his tongue on this thread). Might even share another of my ( many) dead inventions for collecting the "stuff and gunk". Comon' Shane...... jump in this one!!!!
