U could use a carpet cleaning van very easily, that is what I do during the day, and it is pto, I will take some pics of the cat pump and the pulleys. The truck is responsible for the vacum, heat, and pressure. The throttle is controled by vacum, I will take some pics of it also. I have been thinking of this same thing for a while.

Found this small rubber ball in my pump!
Steve Kiser replied to MMI Enterprises's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
Well, I just took the pump apart again, Blew it all out with some air and reassembled it and she fired up and has been working ever since. I guess some dirt or debris was in there. Not sure how that happened. Still stumped on the long white sliver that was in there. Was not from the piston. -

My Daytime job is working for a d/r co., and my boss is a member of boma. Alot of networking involved, being as motivated as u are, Jeff, u would prob. benefit from it. They have like monthly get-togethers, i.e.: dinners, bowling nites, etc. Hope that helps I will ask him tommorrow if he likes it or not.

Technique and Pricing Help Needed
Steve Kiser replied to Lou Beach's question in Residential Pressure Washing
This is a great thread guys!! I have been getting alot of customers that are just wanting the eves and gutters done and not the brick. I know a few of u said that it would not affect the brick, but has anyone had it where it did leave clean streaks? Sometimes the brick may not need it. I am thinking of coming up with a linear foot price for the times when the brick is clean. Sure hate to lose that $$ but I dont want to leave clean streaks. Thanks for all the great advice guys!! -
Upselling you don't know until you ask
Steve Kiser replied to Jeff's topic in Business Topics & Tips
I price everything I see weither they ask or not, a lot of times people won't notice till u point it out, or don't know that u can "solve" that porb for them. If I dont get it that time, I have gotten a call a few weeks after the fact to do more. -

I second that, on rowlettpressure cleaning. Customer service 7 days a week. always answers. Hell he will even let u come ride with him for a day or 2 to teach u and there is no charge but lunch at hooters. Small price to pay for the knowledge.

I am fixing to buy my first surface cleaner, I know it is going to be a 20" whirl-a-way prob. but I am not sure on a floater or one with wheels. I have rented one with pnuematic tires and it was great. But I don't have the money for the high dollar one just yet. I was wondering how the hard plastic wheels held up on aggregate?? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

I use gutter shock on gutters. That is from Steve it works like a champ brush on spray off, or for 2 story x-jet on rinse off. Really waste alot when x-jetting it though, so I try and brush when I can, It REALLY goes a long way when u brush it on.
