I'm not going to get into the ratios, because unless you test your draw rate, its only a guestimate. I would reccomend if you are downstreaming from a 5gallon bucket, Mix 4 gallons 12% sodium hypochorite, and one gallon of your normal house wash(citracleen etc.). This 5 gallons of house wash will be enough for most 2 story houses.Hey John, I am just starting to DS with CC, how much wax, rinse aid, and foamer are ya using in that mix if any?? THanks in advnace

The only changes I made to run 8gpm was the pump, adjusting the unloader and running 1/2" hose. And not using the skid generator. I cut the belt as well.Did u see a big difference when u went from 3/8 to 1/2 hose??
-
If I have to do that, why not just Xjet?I just ordered a 3-5gpm injector to try on the 8gpm machine. The 5-8gpm injector works fine, but I'm hoping for a slightly better draw.
Hey Mike how did it work out for ya?? I am thinking of setting up my new 8gpm for ds and was needing to get me some tips

Sure is hit me up some time on there, I am "budwiser.", we can go at it!!!

Is the water coming from the casing itself, or where the head and the caseing meet??

The black bristles are much better at getting into the tiny holes and grooves. I have a set of the red brushes also and they do not work as well. I tried using them for striping floors but the Vario does not have the weight that a floor machine does. I am going to use my Vario tonight to scrub restroom floors in a machine shop. Here is a pic of one of my guys using the Vario right up next to the edge of the wall.
The red brushes are for t&g, that is what I use any way with the weight on the front I don't use the water tank. The black or the grey one is for stripping and the other one is for concrete, if I remember correctly. Man I love mine!!! What are u cleaning the T&G with??

I had the same prob. with mine, so I shot some grease into it, gave it a whirl, and fired it back up, have not had the prob since. That happened on the first time I used it.

Safe Restore works great on rust also, just did a job with a rust stain on asphalt, about 200 sq. ft, did awsome!!

I did my open trailer with rhino that I bought at auto zone it has been great, going to replace the floor on it next month and I plan on putting the rhino on it also. Great stuff

Thanks for the link Steve. Just a couple of questions:How much does the unit you are using sell for?
Does it use water or steam and how much?
Will it erode the grout quickly like the hand held stiff bristle brushes they are now using in the franchises?
I cant tell much from the web site and have no time to listen to a salesman.
Thanks again and have a great weekend.
Jesse
I got one for around 2300 and some change can't remember figure, it is a scrubber which replaces the little 8 in. brush on a pole that I started out using, it comes with a weight or a water tank, the weight I use when doing the t&g and concrete, the water tank can be used when stripping floors, and it has a little lever on the handle to dispense water, this thing is spinning at 3000 rpm, I did a dressing room at the local shake joint last weekend and after laying down cleaner, hit with scrubber, and rinse at low pressure. Cut almost an hour off my time, from doing it last yr. I have never seen "eroding" grout yet, should be interesting though, all I have to deal with is air pockets. I did however go to a ladies house and when i did a spot test in her closet, after appling the cleaner and hittine with the brush the brush looked like the color of the grout, and when I hit with the cleaning wand, it took the grout out completely, not sure why, kinda like the cleaner liquified the grout again. I am not too worried about it, that is the first time in the 8 yrs I have been cleaning t&g to see that.

If u go after all that t&g I would look at a scrubber put out by Karcher, I have been field testing it for a few months now, and it is incredible, I do alot or residential cleaning, and it has cut all my job times in half a little pricey, but they have different brushes u can buy, ie. red for t&g, they have a grey one for scrubbing concrete trying that next, I will try to find a link to it. It is a little pricey though. Here ya go http://www.tornadovac.com/product_solutions/product_details.asp?PARENT_ROW_ID=4&CHILD_ROW_ID=27&PRODUCT_ROW_ID=51

I just bought a mew house, and have a huge hill in the back that I am going to dig into to build a deck, trying to figure out the retaining wall now, not sure what I am going to use for it. Any suggestions?? It is going to be probable about 6-8 ft tall. Should be a fun profject!!

Yeah u can rent a "dustless" sander, I have seen those, I would have someone sand it, too many things can go wrong, I would be a little more curious as too why the floor boards shrunk? I've been around alot of hardwood and seen some cool floors but never heard of that. Is there a crawl space under the house? The finish though I would do!!

I am testing the vario right now myself, why did u use the black brushes?? The red brushes are uneven in length and makes it easier getting into the pits. But it is an awsome machine, I love the handle turning 360 and the way it collapses.

I am having a hard time finding a smaller brush to screw onto the end of my pole for burshing gutters. Anyone got a good site that sells these kind or brushes?
-
I just ordered a citrakleen kit from Steve, can't wait to get it. Some awsome stuff.

I am on a 12' trailer right now, but am thinking of putting inside a van when I upgrade to a hot water skid this year with a 50 gallon water tank, and I am going to mount my 325 water tank on a small trailer to tow behind when I need the extra water.

We like to use the 3/8 braided hose because it is lightweight and easier to handle. Where did you get your shur-flo from? I am looking for a back up one to have in hand. I would also be intersted in knowing if anyone has ever rebuilt one before?Northern tool had them on sale for $60 I think.
-
Okay I finally got my shur-flo in 2 gpm and 60 psi, I am going to mount it to a two wheel cart. Is there anything I need to know when wiring outside of put a switch and a fuse on it?? Which do u guys find better to use with a 3/8 braided hose or air hose?? And lastly any suggestions on tips size for spraying stripper and ox through it. Thanks guys

I make my own. Call the local pipe supply store. I make mine in 1/8" schedule 80 and in 1/4" schedule 40 stainless steel. I have them cut it to my length and I just thread the ends.why the two different ones if u dont mind me asking

I would use an acid to clean the bathroom tile, a company called StoneTech has a great product or ViperVenom (I use this on anything but bathrooms) i.e. Kitchens, entry's, etc, tile is real fast and EASY
