I would seriously look at a sprinter. They seem to have the most room, but are on the edge of driving HOA's nuts. An extra long e-250 might be a serious and competent option. For what it is worth, I would go new,. but I am that way.

HOw about a van, adn then a small trailer to start your extra stuff that you might need at your warehouse?

Just my opinion. I would go ahead and buy the machine and start another crew. I would think that since you are booked so far out that you could easily start to get some of your backlog taken care of and if absolutely necessary to keep a crew busy, you could start to cherry pick some of the residential jobs. It would also give you the flexibilty to give quicker service to your existing customers. Again, this is just my opinion, and what I would probably do.

I think that you should see what the building codes are in Albuquirky, and make sure that you know what the PSI rating is supposed to be on the concrete. Then, I would go ahead and pay to have it cored and sampled. If it is within spec, you do not have a leg to stand on, but if it is, then you can force them to do whatever repair is necessary to any slab that you may have. You also might have a contractors licensing authority that might be able to help you as well. It is either a registrar or somethign similar that you can protest to and get results.

First, when you are cleaning these, there better not be any birds present. It is against Federal Law to disturb the nest of a migratory bird. I learned, the hard way. When there are no birds there you should just be able to hit it with soap and pressure to get them off. It has always worked for me.

HI Jon, I would have that concrete pressure tested. It sounds like the people that poured the concrete tried to do it fast, so they added water to the truck before they poured. This does change the strength of the concrete and reduces the PSI rating. They also could have actually reduced the amount of Portland in the cement, saving money and all, and that will screw it up to. ' Remember when you were still pressure washing? When you would hit a piece of gum sometimes and a piece of concrete would evaporate faster than a chunk of gum? That is what is happening in those situations. That is why some concrete is so easily scarred and others don't even get fazed.

I have had that happen and when I pulled the coil out it had collapsed the coil. I am certain that it was really hot because the burner housing was red hot when I noticed it. I do not know how hot yours got, but I would bet it was plenty hot for it to do that. Might want to pull the coil and check it out.

I could never understand why it would take some people so long to wash fleets...

Figure that a trailer with a 325 gallon tank will weigh in close to 6000 lbs. with a hot machine. 325 gallon tank 3250 lbs. hot washer 800 lbs. Chemicals 150 lbs. (Minimum) Trailer 1500 lbs. Hoses 175 lbs Hose reels 50 lbs. Miscellaneous 100 lbs. total 5980 lbs.

Honda has a muffler made for teh 20 hp. It is quiet though not silent.

Just a few points that I ouwld like to make. GWB might have been wrong about WMD's. But if he was, Sadaam believed he had them, and every major government believed he had them. Additionally, if you remember right, WMD's were not the sole purpose of this war. The reason that we went into Iraq was because he was not abiding by the UN peace resolution from teh previous war. He was not allowing inspectors in to verify that there were no WMD's and was carrying on like he had them. My personal opinion is that the reason that he thought that he had them was because all of his scientists were telling him so. I think they were doing that for one of two reasons. 1. They were afraid to tell him they had nothing because of the potential consequences, and they knew lack of funds was not a good excuse. or 2. They did not develop them because they knew he was a nut and would use them in the wrong way. He had proved this by unleashing mustard gas (a WMD by the way) on the Kurds. Additionally, not that it is EASILY provable or that it would change anyones mind, but, there is the thought that many, if not all of the WMD's were shipped to Syria. Of course that could be speculation. There are too many things about this whole war, the public perception, and the facts and how they do not coincide with many of the reports that do not make sense to me. There are a lot of egos involved here. For full disclosure, I did not read all of the posts. from what I did read, there were a lot for personal attacks on here. No one is immune to them, and often if we are looking for someone to attack us, we will find it. At least that is my experience. Just a thought. We are all in business to one level or another. We have all had our personal successes and failures. As long as you are happy with how your business is operating, you have nothing to apologize for. I do not have a secretary, unless you want to count my wife, I do not have 10 employees, or even 6 employees, due to choice, and not being able to find good people. I do know that my business is very successful in a very tough market. I have found a niche that works for me. I have learned how to capitalize on this niche and how to properly market it, and the most efficient ways to serve my customers. That is what it all boils down to, and what we all need to keep in mind.

John, That truck will easily carry a water tank, a pressure washer and a couple of hose reels. It will actually carry two pressure washers. I had a truck similar for a while and it had 2 225 gallon tanks, a pressure washer, a generator and a couple of hose reels.

Class A, with all endorsements except passenger. Not hard, just gettingt eh training to drive a truck, and learning the walk around.

I am about to do a run of out of town trips. All are Southern California. The first one is with my sons accelerated learner group. Sea world, etc. I get back Sunday night, work all night, then hook up the trailer and take the family back to San Diego. I fly home for Wed and Thurs for a couple of jobs and then go pick them up and bring them home. Home for 4 days and go back again with my oldest sons Orchestra group. I am hauling the instruments over for them to Disneyland. Just me and my wife, and my son, who will have his own room and be travelling on the bus with the rest of the kids. We are both looking forward to this one.

I have a 12 x 8.5 open trailer. There are not a lot of places that I cannot get it, and I have never had a parking garage that I could not get it in. So, That is my preference.

Jeff, I hope that you are missing the point. There are a lot of different organizations that profess to be christian. Catholics are not the sole church that espouses christian beliefs. I think that is the point that Jason was trying to make. Of course, the Born again christians do not consider my church to be christian either. I always wonder abotut hat since I believe in the Jesus of the Bible.
