Surface Cleaner Arm, NOZZLE TILT
Scott Stone replied to 810F250's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
So in an effort to make the wheel a little more round, how about if you had a four arm spray bar, and had two nozzles at a sharp angle, say 30 degrees, and the other two straight down. That way it could spin faster, but have the oblique angle, as well. Would that work? -
Get well Alan Shack! Trips to the ER are no fun!

is this used set up worth it?
Scott Stone replied to mikejjmay's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
I have used a hot box before. The biggest advantage is the budget aspect. The biggest disadvantage is running two machines to accomplish a project. -
There was a kit out to make the vette wagons in the 70's and 80's. I wish I could remember, but my gray hair is getting in the way.

Happy (belated) New Year... a different kind of resto.
Scott Stone replied to Adrian's question in The Club House
And here I thought a hernia and percocet was bad. Oh well, it kept me down a couple of days. I was on a jobsite within a week, and am fully back at work, with Dr. clearance at 3 weeks. Amazing what they can do. Hope you feel better, that really looks nasty. -

Resusable or crimp on hose fittings?
Scott Stone replied to Econoclean's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
If they are on, they stay on. I dont have a crimping machine, and no one in this area will repair a pressure washer hose because someone sued a hose place because a repair failed. -

Scott Stone replied to Econoclean's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
I use reusables to repair my hoses. the worst part is that I might have to put them on a couple of times TO make them work. The best indicator is if they are hot after they are fully screwed down. -

I always carry extras. Seems simple enough to me. I am glad you were able to find it, though.- 7 replies

I have 5 seats for a preview of Harry Potter tonight, and cannot find enough people to take them. Oh well...

ANd I bet that the producers are thrilled that Hermione turned out to be beautiful. Could you imagine if she was a cute enough ten year old and never got past awkward? Sort of like Ron?

I guess it is what your kids are used to, as well. My 15 year old, who is admittedly VERY squeamish, jumped a foot out of his chair when the snake struck. I saw it coming and closed my eyes. I don't know where he gets it from.

So, knowing you, you are dressing up. The question is, who? I think Brumbage would be an interesting look.

40? dang kids. I still like roller coasters...

I knew that. I was just trying to let Allison know, without telling her, where it ended. I also am thinking that she has little kids, so, did not want them going and getting scared. Life is too short to be scared unnecessarily. And no, I have no use for horror flic's.

The movie is...okay. There is not even a single scene at Hogwarts, there are some very intense moments that I don't think would be good for little kids. There is a little bit of graphic gore. There is also a dream sequence that is very suggestive, and it appears that Hermione Harry are nude in, but you can't see anything. (really, you have to see it to understand.) Decently made, but do not expect it to be classic Harry Potter, because it isn't. But then book 7 was not classic Harry Potter. My son is a HP nut, and knows more about it then anybody should even try to know, and he said that it gets about 2/3's of the way through the book. Alls I know is that it ended after ol' what's his face got Dumbledore's wand.

And why do you think I posted it??? I am going with no.3 son, who is 15. I have a long night ahead of me, and not enough sleep, but, as usual, I am going to make it happen. I will probably go again, at least once this weekend, with my daughter, who is 12. You know, the one in my avatar...

I have been married 22 years. I have never lost my ring, and am pretty sure it won't come off now with anything short of a sawzall. We only dated 6 weeks and were only engaged three months. Seems to be working out, so far...

Oh Allison, you are such a girl! Not that it is a bad thing;)

Out of my yard, it was a Delco RK-40C that was mounted on the back of my F-550. I am not pleased. So, if you happen to see one for sale for too cheap, or too expensive, it could be mine. Let me know.

It did not happen in my back yard. It is at my yard, which is about 5 miles from home, where I store most of my equipment and my trailers. Not much, 5 trailers and four trucks are there. It just sickens me to know that someone took some of my stuff, but, we will suck it up and move on. As for fingerprints? Unless there is a loss of life, or assault, the police do not even darken the door to take finger prints. A phone report, and that is all they do around here.

Now that I think of it, i think it was sikh terrorists that were scoping Bush International to determine that traffic patterns so that they could plan an en masse terrorist attack. (For what it is worth, Sikh's are some of the most passive, kind and peace loving people there are in the world. The silliness of the concept of a sikh terrorist is just funny. Of course, I am just funny that way.)
