I couldn't say how far south/east/west they go, but they are getting to be a more common sight all the time. There is one that is on the hunt around the neighborhood where our office is all the time. "She" had two little ones with her during the spring. Stay safe and hydrated, Chuck

Rookie needs some advise/help
crispy crittr replied to StiGEnterpirse's topic in Business Topics & Tips
www.cleanertimes.com Stephen, All of these guys know what they are talking about. You are smart to be asking and listening to them. Check us out, we are the trade journal for the Pressure washing industry. Some of these guys have been quoted in the magazine. Stay safe and hydrated, Chuck -

Larry, Thank you for those kind words. Whatever Charlene does, she does with a passion. That is why Cleaner Times is where it is at today. She, and the rest of us here, love this industry. I have been here 17 years and in that time I have seen the pressure washing industry literally "come out of the dark". At that time about the only thing a mobile washer did was fleet washing - at night, in the dark. Larry, you guys have good educational material also. Stay safe and hydrated, Chuck

Hey folks, We need some opinions here. I would give mine, but it would obviously be biased. Okay, you get my opinion anyway. Each chapter covers a different application. The chapter should get you started if you have never cleaned what it is talking about, then you can tweak the information to what works best with your style. We've never had anyone ask for a refund. Error This takes you to the guidebook on the Cleaner Times website, don't know why it says "error". Beth, If I have overstepped what is proper for me to post, please delete this. American Idol - How Did YOU Vote ?
crispy crittr replied to Apple Roof Cleaning's question in The Club House
Here's my story and I'm sticking to it - Because it is true. I had never seen a complete performance on any American Idol show until Kris sang after being announced the winner. I walked into the room just as the winner was being announced and my wife and her daughter screamed. So I stayed to watch Kris, our homeboy, sing his victory song. I did vote 120 times for Kris on Tuesday evening. For an "old man" who might text twice a week, I got the rhythm of "5702 - vote" goin'. Hey, like I said, he is our homeboy and I voted for him "songs unheard." Stay safe & hydrated, Chuck -
Thanks for the reminder Pat. You might want to add "Trailer Hitch Hardware" or "Trailer Hitch Safety" to the thread title. I am going to check mine when I go to lunch after while. Stay safe & hydrated, Chuck

Hello Rev. Michael, If you ever get to Little Rock stop by and we will fix you up with some back issues of Cleaner Times magazine. (that goes for anyone who stops in to say hello.) We're located about one mile due west of the I-430/I-630 interchange. We also have a trial subscription (two issues) to the magazine. Just email your address to me and I can get you set up. By the way, stopped by Feltner's What-a-Burger a couple of months ago and it's not near as good as it used to be. I was really disappointed in that big bag of fries I got with my burger. Stay safe, Chuck

I'm jealous! Saw them in Memphis ('70 or '71) and I remember how great that concert was. Going to concerts with your teenagers is a lot of fun. My son (now 26) and I went to see Lynyrd Skynyrd about 10 years ago. His best comment during the concert was, "Does everybody know all words to all the songs and sing along for the whole concert?" A lot of managers at fast food restaurants make their bonus based on the store's profit. It's that manager that doesn't want his profit lowered by hiring you guys and getting the cleaning done right. From the window in my office at our old location I could see the drive through at a chain called "BackYard Burgers". Every so often the manager would be hanging out the pick-up window while he supervised the newest employee trying to clean the pad by the window with a bucket and mop. Probably the same thing at the Sonics. Only this time they are having to pay an employee to clean when the store is closed. Can't be cuttin' into that bonus now, can we? I agree that most Sonics do look nasty, but I like the food, and Happy Hour on a hot afternoon. Stay safe & hydrated, Chuck

1971 Chevy Malibu. 2 door automatic with a 307 and bench front seat. ;-) I wish I still had it stashed away in a garage somewhere. That car treated me right because I treated it right. The only thing I added to it was a FM converter and a rear speaker. You mounted the FM converter under the dash, plugged it into the fuse box. Antenna plugged into it, then from it to the AM radio. The mid 70s, the golden age of rock & roll - Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc. More than once I woke up in the morning at home because my Malibu knew the way. Only broke down twice in it, both times water pumps, both times over 60 miles from home. The second time it happened the mechanic told me the water pump had a design flaw it and to put a rebuilt in, never had another problem. Thanks for jogging my memory. Stay safe & hydrated, Chuck

This is Phantom, a Blue Heeler mix. I gave Phantom to my son and his mother a couple of years ago so he would have a better quality of life. Their yard is a lot bigger. My son tells me Phantom won't let anyone get close to his grandmother unless he knows them or she says it is okay. Phantom always amazed me with his intelligence and how fast he picked up on new things. Stay safe & hydrated, Chuck

Cleaner Times Magazine I'm not sure if this is a complete list, but it should be close. The "numbering system" next to the different powerwashing boards goes way back to the first time it was tried and I respected the effort. They get to be first for the idea of keeping the powerwashing boards at the top of the list. The next group are the powerwashing boards linked at that time, then then the others as they have come online. Stay safe & hydrated, Chuck

http://www.cleanertimes.com/links_dat.cfm?section=forum ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here is the link to the "Online Forums / Chat and Information Resources" on the Cleaner Times links page. Most of what Beth posted is here. I keep this in my favorites rather than each BBS. I find it easier to use when checking the boards. Stay safe, Chuck

I was at a Pinewood Derby Saturday that had over 300 cars entered. I took my camera in, but with the crowd I was not able to get any pictures of the cars. There were a lot of really cool looking cars. There was a "graphite pit" and next the the scales was a cordless drill with a big bit on it. The drill was in constant use as the cars were being checked in. The sticky weights that were available seemed to go untouched. I don't know how your son's derby will be set up, but this one was efficient. The six names of the kids in each heat were projected on a screen and the results of the heat were projected on the screen virtually immediately, with times. There might have been two minutes between the heats. Constant action, which is good when you have 300 kids in a gym. It was a lot different from when I was a kid with two lane tracks.

Cleaner Times - "Spouse of the Year"
crispy crittr replied to crispy crittr's topic in Industry News & Events
Don't Forget! The deadline is this Sunday, 10/15/06. Let your spouse know how much you care. You may not send in the winning essay (short essay), but just the effort should get you a great big, "Aw, you are so sweet to think of me." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ken, Thank you!
