  1. WOW #2 ...another craigslist ad

Competition is rough. You just have to deal with it. You may consider him a low baller and not really "competition" but he is in fact competition. We all have to adapt to competitors and pricing and advertising. Most people unfortunately look to gov't to enforce tough regulations on new businesses to keep their business safe. That is basically the same as paying the mob protection money.
  2. not near the airport. I don't think the bleach had gone flat, as I just got it and used it on 2 other houses & it worked fine. Every house on the street is just as bad.
  3. We washed a big house (brick with sood trim and some siding) last week and it was only 13 months old, but very dirty. No green stuff, mostly black. The bleach would not touch it so we basically brushed everything with the gutter cleaner . I even tried the gutter cleaner sprayed on with the wand just to see and that did not work. With closer pressure the top layer would come off but it was still there. And alot of the homes in that sub division looked the same way. Any ideas on the reason? It is as though something was wrong with the paint or the wood underneath when they painted it new. Thanks
  4. Thanks for the info . i found another thread where a guy was using it with a "T" fitting with 2 tips on the end of the gutter tool . So the pressure off 2 tips would offset each other and the direction of the tips would be "sideways" so maybe the tool would stay put. We will see.
  5. Gutter Cleaning Question

I am guessing that points the pressure in a better direction and the 2 tips offset each other's force.Got a picture ? Thanks :lgmoneyey
  6. I have one of those curved extentions for cleaning out gutters. But it is very hard to use because the pressure makes teh thing go crazy because of teh way it is shaped. Of course turning down teh pressure helps but I was thinking of having a helper use an extension pole to hod it in place above the gutters somehow. Obviously I'm trying to get around using a ladder when possible.:lgsideway Thanks
  7. Atta Boy for Sun Brite

Guys at Sunbrite have always been very helpful to me.
  8. Nice Forum.

Nice forum... Very helpful folks here. I had saved this site to my favorites a few months ago, just had little time to look. My main biz is Lawn Service, but I'm really pushing the PW side of things. My Dad is a painting contractor which gives me about 30% of my PW work. The rest has come from signs & YP ads & some referrals. Just started PW 2 years ago.
