  1. Gas prices

People that work 2 and 3 jobs and wife has to work are doing yhis because they have to pay for all the things they want. There is a big difference in wants and needs. I am the first to admit I made this mistake. Both my kids went to daycare so my wife could work to pay for the bigger house, newer cars, boats, campers, motorcycles. If I could do it all again things would definitely be different. little off subject but it all has come from snowball effect that WE ALL have contributed to.
  2. Good job Roger, gotta love all the nooks and crannies and impossible to get to places. Is the wood tux at full strength or diluted? I've been experimenting with a sample and I think I might rather use this stuff at a one to one dilution. Full strength is just to orange to me.
  3. If your luck is any thing like mine, just as soon as you get rid of it you will run up on an opportunity that will require it. i have a cold water 4 gal min mounted on my trailer that will be nice to have if my main unit breaks in the middle of a job say like after you shoot the acid on a brick wall you are cleaning. I tried rinsing with the small machine after getting used to 5.5 gal machine and I could not believe the difference an extra 1.5 gpm made.
  4. First deck strip

I use a varible pressure wand to clean wood, adjust the pressure with the twist of a handle, wouldn,t leave home without it.
  5. Thats the way mine is .Initially I had a problem with my unloader cycling so I had to switch from a 3/8 hose to a 1/4 " hose or you can change orofice size at unloader. My unloader is the ZK1 flow actuated and they are a little sensitive.
  6. How dangerous is hd-80 on shrubs at the 4 oz.per gal mix? Also can anyone give me the ESI web address?
  7. Moron

Ken,I have to say you are a very opened minded smart thinking kind of guy, love learning from your post.
  8. Take what you know and go with it . I know what you mean about so many threads and opinions getting confusing. There is a wealth of information here but also a lot of opinions and tecniques as well.
  9. Concrete Chems

F-18 comes from www.pressuretek.com I think and HD-80 is wood stripper from extreme solutions that can be bought from www.sunbritesupply.com Ihave used power stroke and it worked great.
  10. I use a homemade set up for spraying stain. 1.8 gpm-60 psi shurflo with the deckster wand. I know backbrushing is a must but I wonder how wtw will spray using this setup. I saw a previous thread about this but have not been able to find.
  11. Can't believe nobody is using this setup to spray this stuff.
  12. Where in the World??

    Hillsborough, Nawth Carolina
  13. Tax time

If you are not record keeping on computer go to office supply and get a Dome Notebook[simplified Monthly Bookkeeping Record.] Aside from a computer it is the best thing since sliced bread.
  14. telescoping wand

Has anyone tried the new heavy duty telescoping wand from Sunbrite. Wondering if it is any better than the ones from northern tool when extended all the way out.
  15. The zero tip works great for long spans of gutters, put your ladder at one end and clean the entire length, even the ones full of soggy leaves and such. I use the variable pressure wand while doing this.
  16. General Pump ZK1 Unloader

Greald ,sorry I can't send a picture right now ,camera is on the blink and I'm not sure how to do a picture send. I also had to go with the 1/4" bypass hose to keep machine from cycling .
  17. I used kerosine in my burner for awhile besause I was told that it burned hotter than diesel,I went back to diesel after I was told by technician that the fuel pump would not last as long with kero because of the less amount of lubricants. As far as gas goes, the owners manuel for my truck says if an enginr is rated for 87 octane it will not perform any better with prem. fuel. If you want to clean your engine valves, plugs etc. just burn a tank of Amoco premium from time to time. Amoco premium is different than other prem fuels because of less additives, if you'll notice it is almost clear in color. This is just my 2 cents
  18. General Pump ZK1 Unloader

I have the rk 43 from delco,It came with the ZK1 unloader. I would think everything should plumb the same as your old unloader.
  19. Prayer Needed

Morgan ,my heart was saddened after reading this request. I have two young girls and can only imagine your heart felt pain. It is so hard not to ask why in a situation like this, but we have to realize that God's plan is perfect and he will see you through this.Keep the faith, and I will definately be praying for your daughter and your family.
  20. How do YOU clean..?

If you wouldnt use efc-38 on something this easy to clean, why use a percarb at all, just use hd-80 on everything. I thought the theory was to never subject the wood to nothing harsher than needed?
  21. State of Affairs-Bulletin Boards

KF, you almost always make a lot of sense.
  22. Opinion on Delco's RK43

i BOUGHT ONE IN JAN. HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS THUS FAR. I UPGRADED TO THE KOHLER ENGINE, MUCH BETTER ENGINE. LOOKING BACK I WOULD HAVE PROBABLY WENT WITH THE RK-21,I THINK THIS IS THE ONE WITH THE 120 VOLT BURNER AND 3000 PSI PUMP. CAN'T SEE A NEED FOR ANY MORE PRESSURE UNLESS YOU ARE REMOVING RUBBER FROM AIRPORT RUNWAYS.LOL. I THINK MOST FOLKS LIKE THE 120 VOLT BURNER VS. THE 12 VOLT . AT LEAST MY REPAIR PERSON DOES. JUST A THOUGHT.
  23. New Construction help.

mOST OF YHE TIME IT WILL CONSIST OF CLEANING GARAGE FLOOR ,DRIVEWAY AND SIDEWALKS,RINSE AROUND FOUNDATION,RINSE SIDING ON HOUSE,iF IT IS BRICK ,THAT IS A WHOLE NEW SUBJECT THAT YOU WILL NEED TO DO A LITTLE RESEARCH ON. aFTER THINKING ,YOU PROBABLY WON'T HAVE A LOT TO CLEAN THERE SINCE YOU DON'T HAVE THE RED CLAY THAT WE HAVE. JUST A THOUGHT.
  24. telescoping wand

I need the wand for new construction brick cleaning. I just don't want one that will flex like a noodle.I know coress sales a nice one as does Steve Rowlett. I was hoping to spend a little less.
  25. What to cover during a housewash
