  1. haven't read all of this thread, I plan to when I get the time, after reading a couple of post I felt compelled to say that I am thankful to God that Algore wasn't prez. when 9/11 happened. I doubt bin laden wanted to hold hands and all of us just get along feeling warm and fuzzy inside.

  2. I have to tell this story about a friend who is a truck driver. These guys just can't wheel right in anywhere. He said he usually carries a five gallon bucket with him,but on this day he had just finished chinese food and setteled in for a long drive and he felt his stomach gurgle. He started looking for his bucket, but didn't have it.He had just bought a new water cooler so that was his only alternative being the next exit was miles away.He screwed the top back on the cooler after doing his biz and when he got to the truck stop that eve he deposited the cooler into the dumpster. Within minutes someone comes along to scavage a new cooler from the dumpster. Friend said he could hardly contain himself when they unscrewed the top!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Here the city charges like 37.00 per 3000 gals. with this being the minimum they get charged. They also get charged the same 37.00 for a sewer charge to dispose of that 3000 gals. I understand supplying water in this situation but to wash a house for 125.00 after supplying water is just plain stupid not to mention including this in your yellowpage ad.

  4. This guy is in my area. Water weighs 8 pounds per gallon. I simply don't like to punish my truck or my trailer to haul an extra 2800 pounds to a job. If you are trying to wash a decent size house with a limited amount of water you are gonna compromise a thorough rinse in many situations. When I do haul water I get it from water plant near my house and it cost pennies and only takes about 3 minutes to fill my 350 gal. tank but I usually ask customer in a round about way can I use their water by asking them where the outside faucets are at time of estimate.

  5. A lot of guys want engine degreased and radiator washed out, meaning dust and grease buildup which causes it to overheat. use very low pressure and good degreaser and rinse straight through radiator if you have to do this being careful not to bend the fins . I usually charge by yhe hour when I go to a jobsite. Nasty work but it pays good.
