anyone ever see/look into DRY ICE BLASTING. ZERO run-off. Dry ice turn's into a harmless gas vapor and dirt fall's off. NO CHEM'S EITHER. Yes it can be used on any surface. as the wood get's wet it soften's. Watch that turbo when you get to bare wood. I would start off with the x-jet. Work the turbo or x-jet at an angle. Lift the old paint like gum off sidewalk.

i have a real good tip for you. Get an old pool tarp, the kind that is MESH. The paint will come off easy, it's the damn clean-up. paint chip's all over. If you spread out the mesh tarp the chip's stick to it but the water pass's. Trust me on this one. Rinse with a TSP/BLEACH mix. Dont under bid this job, it can bite you.

set a price for the play-set builder's and let them do the selling. No going to do an est. You know the time and material's. You have a good shot at up-selling more service's. Offer a incentive program to the play-set co. Dont under est these thing's, they are tuff to do and your going to get a lot of people asking about splinter's and repair work to splintered wood and hardware. All most everyone will want a new canopy if they have them. Whatever you charge for a house wash,plus sealer is what i would charge. Maybe even a bit more because you either need a sealer you can apply to wet wood [bio-wash and sealer] or you need to make 2 trip's. The bio-wash might be a real good angle to get more customer's. Safety is number 1. Use citric acid not oxalic acid

Greg, i thought the same as you untill i tried mixing HF with my sod. hyd. detergent. I thought one would nuet the other. It will but it take's time. I have mixed the two to make a buffered acid to wash polished alum and it work's. Can only mix enuff to wash a couple of truck's. this is why i asked.

i think i would use a citric based cleaner or 2 step with alum brightner and alk. soap. Good ol gutter zap might work just fine. krud cutter from home depot is easy to get and test.

you will use the full 24 ft if you get the flexi wand and clean gutter's from the ground. Also can hook-up a shur-flo to it and spay gutter cleaner at 100% and little waste. Well if you have and were thinking,"a hot water skid is what i really need" then envriospec's $2995 super skid is a pretty darn good deal. I dont think you could buy the part's that cheap.
