Only time harvest bothers me is when it is passed off as not being harvest to viewers. i.e- High fence deer harvest footage by Jimmy Houston passed off as 'hunting' by way of barely showing the fence bothers me.ps-it's all about the bear sausage.now that's good eats
Yes, Bear Sausage is pretty good.
Like any greasy meat.
I feel a kinship with Bears, they are a top of the food chain predator, like us.
We NEED predators, they have their place in the eco system.

Don't forget everyone good buddy Rumsfeld that deserves credit for causing mass obesity, tons of sawed off diabetic limbs, etc, etc., ..you know..an overall epidemic of horrible side effect deaths when him and some others were able to get aspartame approved by the FDA. ..Most dangerous thing ever allowed into food!, anyone care for some wood alcohol in their morning coffee?Wood Alcohol is best used in Apple Cider Roof Cleaning Mixture, LOL
It "makes roof cleaners fat", like FAT in their wallets

Well I heard Palin used to be a manPlus she's under investigation for troopergate and abuse of power. Oh thats a selling point in the republican party. Hell Bush & Chenney been abusing their power for 7 years LOL
Didn't Cheyney have something to do with some Hale Burton Company that made a fortune off the Iraq War ?
-
And what the F is the problem with being anti-abortion?No Problem, no problem at all
-
I heard Palin is or was Bi Sexual. I wonder if she told them that when she was vetted. well at least she didn't get busted in an airport bathroom in Minnesota lolOops, be careful what words you choose Jeffski :lgangry:
The SPIN artists, The Clinically Depressed, or The Terminally Paranoid may accuse YOU of "targeting porn keywords"
Actually Jeff, I was "court ordered" to attend Paranoids Anonymous Meetings.
The problem was, they would not tell me where they met :lolsign:
-
LOL Exactly!I also heard Palin have an open marraige.
ROTFLMAO :usa:

Welocome Chad !
Beth Borego is modest, but she HAS been known to write an article or two or three for magazines.:winking:
I suggest you tap into HER talents ?
And our own Barry Maddox aint a bad writer either!

Hey man don't tread on the Nuge!! Things of runnin bear may not be every hunters enjoyment but we could respect traditional goals of harvesting meat for sake of harvesting meat while giving the hounds what they made to do without crying sportsmans foul. Watch a few seasons of his hunting shows and then lets talk. :)Hello Kevin !!
Remember, I grew UP in Michigan, plenty of Deer to hunt.
For SOME reason, running a Bear up a tree, then shooting it, repulses me.
I HAVE ate Bear, Deer blows it away.
Ted Nugent is a fellow Detroiter, like me.
He has "The Detroit Attitude" for sure, and so do I.
Must be something in our water ?
LOVE his anti gun control, pro NRA stance, and his anti drug stance too.
The BEAR hunting thing really bothers me Kevin.
The guy also refuses to sign autographs too!
-
Ted Nugent, and his old band The Amboy Dukes, are here singing the PRAISES of LSD.
YouTube - Amboy Dukes, The Journey to the Center of the Mind
I know, he is from Michigan, my home state.
I remember him well.
He is NOT well liked in Michigan.
Here is the "bad boy" about to get his azz kicked
Nugent had a song called Down On Phillips Escalator
Take the First letter of each word, it spells DOPE.
While I support our RIGHT to keep and bear Guns, I dont like Ted Nugent.
He fancies himself a "big game hunter"
He runs Bear with Dogs, the Bear runs up a tree to get away from the annoying Dogs, and Macho Nugent comes along and shoots a helpless animal out of a Tree.
Nugent CRIES about the "hippies and drug culture", yet he made a fortune off of them.
I do like his anti gun control stance, i can say that, and his music!

Where did McCain get all the Barbie Doll babe's ( staff workers)? They look somewhat like his wife (). I was watching some of the convention and a couple of the staffers where Shaggable!!!They "feel safe" with Grandpa McCain.
At age 72, he is harmless.
-
Daniel,If grandfather Sen. McCain at 71 or so can "shag" her as you so delicately put it, age in this election is not a factor. That alone would guarantee my vote.
Mine too, especially if he can shag w/o viagra :)
-
I think McCain picked her, because he wants to shag her.At age 72, dont think his wand works too well w/o Viagra ?
-
I have no Dog in this race Scott, so I really could care less.
But, from talking to people, I get the impression the Demo's are GLAD she got picked.
Personally, I think McCain should have picked Romney.
But, no matter, Obama is gonna kick his azz no matter what.
Not for Obama either.

I guess she's here today ?
This is a letter in the Tampa newspaper today.
The following letter appeared in today`s Tampa Tribune. It was written by a women.
"As a former supporter of Hillary Clinton, I am insulted by the blatant pandering of John McCain in choosing Sarah Palin as his running mate.
Palin is ideologically farther to the right than George W. Bush. She is militantly anti-abortion. She wants to teach intelligent design in public schools. She doesn’t believe global warming is real She killed clean coal and wind power in her state in favor of big oil. She claims to have fought corruption, but took campaign contributions from VECO, Alaska`s scandal-ridden oil company. Finally she`s under investigation by her own state legislature for abuse of power.
Hmm, lets see, a VP who`s for big oil and abuses power in office. Sarah Palin isn`t the next Hillary Clinton, she`s the next **** Cheney."
While I defend Sarah Palin`s right to decide what is right for her family, each and every one of us should demand the same right.

Aside from the awful singing, what's wrong with this video.Looks like he was singing to me ?

My step brother was a first responder during Katrina. He works for Fish & Wildlife. He and his buddy and co-worker went out in a boat and rescued people from rooftops and took them to the dome where they were supposed to go. They navigated water without knowing what was where, and passed many a dead body. Devastation was all around them. Some that were helped were those who had lived there all their lives, were elderly and had no way to leave or were handicapped. There were real people, good people, friends of my family who lost everything they owned. They were not bums or ghetto people, they were families in the path of a devastating force of nature. Anyone who is God fearing, who is compassionate, and who holds life dear needs to think about this if they react without compassion or with disgust or disdain towards those who suffered and lost friends, family or home. Shame on you!Beth
Beth, do you KNOW I am a Ham Radio Operator, duh ?
Many Hams went to NO to VOLUNTEER communications services.
THAT is what Hams do.
I kNOW the devastation, and the meaning of Compassion.
It is MY belief it would have been FAR more compassiionate to REMOVE these people from NO, and relocate them somewhere else.
IF this hurricane hits, lets HELP any victims, and finally relocate them from a city that aint supposed to be there anyway ?
THAT is all I am saying.
Friends dont let Friends STAY in NO, LA.

Nice Post Peerless!
Dont agree with ALL, but MOST of it, but it is interesting to get some other opinions.
You have a lot to say, thank you for posting !!
-
I agree with Chris. Mother Nature wants the people out, how clear does she have to make it? the same with tornado alley.you get hit sevral times a year and dont get the hint. my question is why would anyone buy land that sits 20+ft below sea level. must of been a hell of a salesman. But all in all god bless everyone in the area.+Ive been there to party sevral times in the last 5 years. its fun but it's also very ire at night.the crime rate there is the 2nd highest in the U.S.Be careful Joe, before YOU get labeled a Jerk
Chris...Sometime I think you sniff too much bleach.
Comments like this make you look like a jerk.
Beth
Hey, it's all good, we can disagree with out being disagreeable, and have a good discussion.
We have some LONG bridges here in Florida, and people run out of Gas, despite the zillions of signs.
The Police USED to cater to them, but now they SIT for a good while, LOL
WHY should my tax dollars be used to bail out some Yahoo who failed to take precations ?
He pushed the envelope, why should I pay for it ?
Same with New Orleans.
Nature dont WANT it there, we have taken away much of the Missippi's flood plain!
Result ?
Flooding in the Midwest !
And Tax Money spent needlessy.
Nice to have a fellow "Jerk" agree Joe :umbrella:
-
New Orleans is below sea level. It doesn't seem logical to build a city below sea level. It should be filled with water and turned into a water park. This is an interesting article The case against rebuilding the sunken city of New Orleans. - By Jack Shafer - Slate Magazine
We would get the Missippi River Delta Back !
Wonder if that would help flooding in the Midwest ?

Beth
Really ?
Then I am not alone in "being a jerk" ?

Oh please....it's not all like that. When was the last time you were there?I have family there. There are GOOD people there. The simple truth is the Government didn't react swiftly enough or do enough afterward.
Beth
My feeling is IF people are stupid enough to live in a place like that, that's on them.
But please dont ask US to pay for it ?
Look at this, and other polls ?
If Gustav Wipes Out New Orleans, Should We Rebuild It?(serious) - Page 5 - Xbox 360 & Xbox Forums
Evidently, others feel the same way.

Beth
WHAT do you DO when Levee's FAIL ?
And, so WHAT if they would have got the people out of there, the city was STILL wasted.
Sure, lives would have been spared, a good thing!
But what about the cost of taxpayers CONSTANTLY rebuilding a City ?
Beth, TWICE we have rebuilt New Orleans, now it looks like Time 3.
Is there SOME point we say "enough is enough", and give up ?
Or, do we keep pouring money into a place that isn't supposed to be there anyway ?
-
I was there 4 weeks ago and my opinion of the place is exactly what Chris says....that place is an absolute waste. Yeah, some of the history is cool, but it seems that everybody there is in some kind of a daze and they aimlessly wonder the streets. It's the weirdest thing I've ever seen in my life.I made the comment to my wife when I got home from that dump that I can't understand how people could have such meaningless lives. I'm kind of a high stung person and need to be doing something all the time. The people there (don't mean to make a blanket statement like this because I know there are honest hard working people there) just walk the streets and have nothing to live for. It's strange.
Don't even get me started about Bourbon Street....
AMEN Anthony

Beth I agree, Chris what do you think would have happened if Tampa was in the same situation? Would say the same things? Well, why spend tax payers money to rebuild Tampa. Chris I am not sure why you would say such things.Tampa is NOT 20 feet below Sea Level Mel.
Tropical Storm: Tracking Map : Weather Underground
Plus, it is not in hurricane alley.
It is kinda hard when you are BELOW Sea Level to survive a storm surge.
This has happened TWICE now Mel, looks like it is gonna happen again ?
THAT is why I would "say a thing like that"
What are we gonna do, rebuild it again ?
The Mayans abandoned HUGE Cities when they outlived their usefulness.
At WHAT point do we realize Nature sometime will not be "controlled' ?
Your Opinions On Rebuilding New Orleans ?

What ?
I must have missed this post ?
HOW did I get brought into this ?
I don't live in NOLA, nor does Don.
We live, and work in Florida.
What do strippers, etc, etc in NOLA have to do with a couple of roof cleaners in florida making an honest living ?
