Anyone have or know where to get a battery powered shop-vac ? Drills, saws, etc. to make the mess but cant find a battery shop-vac to clean up the mess.

Mick, Short answer is depends on length of hose. At 8gpm you loose 300 psi for every 100 ft of hose using 3/8 hose. Only 80 psi when using 1/2 inch hose. When I have long hose runs (200 ft or more) I run 1/2 inch until last 50 ft then 3/8. I find 1/2 inch to heavy and stiff to use on a wand or surface cleaner. you almost got it right...disconnect the line at the pump, plug that hole, and run it from the unloader to the tank. Try to connect to the tank away from your supply line.

No need to install in the bottom...install in the top, preferably opposite end of where your pump draws from.

I would check that the burner is not on when the gun is off...sounds to me like you are getting steam then as you hold the gun on it the water gets back to normal temps.

Well, I think it's a matter of common sense, no power washing if you are going blasting with high pressure, but if you are using the power washer to do the "soft washing", "low-pressure", then have it.

Depending on the size and type of line 1500 to 4000, is most common, I believe.

Sewer hose I am familar with is thermo-plastic..no wire braid..thats why its much lighter.

I would be carefull doing that. You are right in that it is lighter, but in the long run I think it will be more expensive because the jetter hose is not as abrasion resistance. Drag it on concrete and you will be replacing it much more frequently. Using 8gpm and only 100', I dont think you should be losing that much with 3/8". If you do go that route...Piranha Hose (Sp)

They are a great cold water machine. FYI they make different " versions", the poly link belt and normal belts. It may make a difference to you depending on how you want the machine oriented and the direction of the exhaust. According to the gauge, I get 3000psi. I never measured the flow, but if it is 7, or 7.5, or 8gpm, I don't care, it washes fast.

first thing I would do is spin the blower by hand to see if it is free.

Your link is not working for me I have never done that, but some thoughts...1, the generator is going to take about 5hp to run, that means 5hp less for the pump. 2 You would need to change the pulley on the engine. 3 do you have enough room for the generator?

Marco, I'm guessing by "snaking" he is using a jetter hose. The problem I have with cleaning the exterior of the gutters is the chem tends to drop down on the house, then you have to rince most of the house. I clean exterior of gutters ONLY with a house wash. I tend to go an hourly rate of how long I think it is going to take me to clean the interior of gutters, 90% of mine are $150.00

My only experience is with latex, hot water and turbo will take it right up. But I doubt anyone would put latex on exterior pavers, worth a try.

What you need at the end.... is about 1% bleach on the house siding to do the job.
