  1. This one took a full strength mix (8:1). It was an Olympic acrylic solid that was misapplied as well as over-applied by the homeowner last summer. Dwell time was almost an hour with misting to keep the stripper wet. The homeowner was ecstatic with the results and we likely have one of her neighbors to look at. We'll be applying Wood Tux Wet as soon as the sun comes back out. Roger
  2. The only time that I use the full pressure of the pressure washer is when I use the surface cleaner for flat work. When I clean a house I'm using the gpm of my machine, the pressure is around 700 to 1000 psi. The chems are going to do most of the work for you, that is, if you have the right chems to start with. The gpm of your machine is very important as it dictates how fast or how slow you can wash. The higher gpm the faster you can wash, the lower gpm the slower you can wash. Roger

  4. Don't think twice about asking questions here. That's one of the reasons why it's here. Roger

Merry Christmas to everyone. We hope everyone has a blessed day. Roger, Celeste & family :lgangel:
  6. All of the Ipe decks that I've worked on has PT under them. I dont think that you will have a problem with the PT wood, it should last 15 yrs or longer. Roger
  7. I must be one sexy Bi***,(where's my mojo) because all of you have noticed me.
  8. What type of pump do you have? The reason that I'm asking is 13hp motor is to small for a 5.6 gpm pump. You need at least 18hp. Your pump is probably not working at its full potential. If the pump is not working at its full potential then your not going to get the downstreamers full potential. Roger
  9. Hi Mike, I just stripped a deck yesterday and I used warm water. The temp was around 47 degs out and I set the burner at the lowest setting (86 degrees). The only place that furred up was on the pickets but it was't bad. Roger
