8 GPM COLD vs. 5.6 GPM HOT!! ?
810F250 replied to White WASH's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
1)Get the 5.6 hot, with the capacity in the coil to burn more fuel, get one with a 20" diameter coil or bigger, 2)or if your budget will allow a 5.6 with longer coil (more pancakes) for the 8gpm pump. 3)If you went with the 5.6gpm with a smaller than 20" coil you could still join the additional cold water unit you have now or some other , to get to 8 gpm or even more, but remember the exit temps will be much less as compared to the max temp of the 5.6 gpm output. With the 20" coil and if the burner fan is large enough, you could put a larger fuel nozzle and or increase the fuel pressure (if feasible, consider fuel atomization etc) you would then obtain some more heat output for the same coil. here is a video I did of how you could join two pressure washers. -
Lowering a trailer height by 2-3 inches

I like your ideas, there are also wheels that they use to move steel containers 20 and 40 ft, those would be great also. -
Lowering a trailer height by 2-3 inches
810F250 replied to John T's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
I had the idea of installing smaller wheel and tires once at the garage and off the roadways, the problem I had was to many lugs for smaller wheels, but if you look at some of the bigger trailer tire websites, you may find something that works, but if you went to an industrial manufacturer you probably have a better chance. -
I was looking at my mosmatic surface cleaner 3 arm spare part# 82.943 (for a 30" SC), and was wondering what was the angle of tilt on these welded mosmatic arms . I have heard that some of the steel eagle (and mosmatic "s" style see link above) arms have an adjustable female nozzle port (so you can adjust the angle of tilt, hence increasing/decreasing the rotating speed and cleaning impact. I was wondering what are the manufacturers set angle for different makes of Surface cleaners; anyone know/measured what some of the arm angles are on the name brand Surface cleaners; Landa Steel eagle, Mosmatic, Whisper Wash, Whirl-a-way. I had a mill work protractor in the garage and the mosmatic non-adjustable arm 82.943 angle measured about 15 degrees. This angle does not seem to impart much of the fluid energy toward rotation.

Best way to mount two pumps to one engine
810F250 replied to John.Harper's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
The set up looks good FullBlast, much cheaper than using one pump at 24 gpm, those industrial pumps cost so much more. Not to mention your redundancy. -
Whats the difference between Roof Snot and Talon Russ?
