  1. How have websites helped?

I cannot imagine not having one.
  2. Can anyone give a scientific explanation as to why gutters streaks are so hard to get off when its cold.I've tried several gutter products and they all have dificulty removing the streaks in colder weather.I've done houses where the gutters would kill my time but once I got to the side of the house that the sun hits all day they come off like magic.

  4. It's been a while, Hello everyone

I remember reading about a large pw company that had to pull their commercial early because they could not keep up with the amount of business it got them.Whether this makes you feel good or bad I'll let you decide. Please let me know how it works out.

  7. We put ''images property of ppc"at the top of every before and after page and entered the disable code. When you click on an image "right click disabled" pops up.We are going to change that to "property of ppc".Hopefully this will deter someone.I can't imagine being a deck pro and having my pics stolen.I'm getting mad about moldy pictures.A newly sealed deck is a work of art.
  8. How profitable?

At 50 dollars an hour you will not succeed.I'm sure others with more experience will give you a more detailed analysis.Your rate she be at least double that.Especially since you are based in the north where pws tend to get better rates than us all year round southern companys.
  9. It is a very strange feeling to see your work on someone elses website.I contacted the company and it was resolved quickly.Jon makes a good point. But actually seeing someone take credit for my work really iritates me.
  10. Decals / Stickers

I priced decals 1000 for 115 bucks 3x4.I just cant see using a thousand I wanted them to stick on my equipment, safety cones and what not.Thats a great Idea Ken.You would really create a name for yourself(like you havent already)I can just picture a home owner bragging to her guest pointing to the pp brand on her deck.Fence companies do it.

  12. cement splatter

A previous customer called today who had his pool deck redone resulting in cement splatter on his brick home and a/c unit.I stopped by my local prosoco dealer to find a remedy and was informed that unlike mortar cement is very hard to remove from brick and will leave a stain. He recommended using muratic on the cement with scrubbing. For the a/c unit to use a wood block to chip it off then wiping with a rag and wd 40.going out to see it at 1 oclock any other suggestions.
  13. cement splatter

  25. rust on stucco

I'm worried it will lighten up the stucco color too much.I've heard of this happening before.so I've always shyed away from removing mineral/rust deposits from stucco.
