Scott, Getting pictures and will post them. The tank size is to only act as a buffer so that the pump does not run dry( I hook up to the customers supply). The trailer has a 3000lb. axle and enough room to mount a bigger tank. If you are interested e mail me your phone number. Thanks, Jim

Can a recovery system be put together for under $1,000.00 ? My rig is a 4gpm cold & a 8gpm hot with a 90 gallon tank. All the commercial recovery units are just to expensive for me right now. I work in the San Diego area doing mostly flat work water only, no chemicals. I have some work to bid and there is no recovery back to the property available. Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions. Been reading this forum for quite awhile and it has always been helpful. Jim The Clean Machine

Thanks for the reply. I was going to disconnect after filling the tank. I have found myself having to pull off a job just to get gas or crossing my fingers that I was not going to run out. Once again Thanks. Jim

The tank for my skid is only 8 gallons and I have been filling two 5 gallon cans to put on the trailer. What I would like to do is just pull gas directly from my van/gas tank and eliminate needing to carry the extra gas cans. I was thinking about a small 12v pump, hoses, and an on/off switch run off the skid battery. Has anyone done this and how did you set it up. Thanks, Jim The Clean Machine

Will be purchasing my first hot unit and was looking for some feedback ( good & bad ) on the Hydro Tek. Right now I am doing roofs/flat work and know that hot and higher gpm is where I need to go ( thanks to this board and it's contributers ). Also, if anyone feels there is a better machine in the same price range/performance please let me know. Thanks, Jim The Clean Machine

Are there any real differances between the various brands? I will be looking to buy my first hot water unit ( 5gpm/3500psi Min.) for flat and roof /tile work. They all seem to use the same components. For me reliabity and ease of maintinance/repair are important. Also, does having a portable unit Vs. a trailer skid unit figure into anyones choice ?
