Mr / Mrs Customer It's hard for us to say exactly when we'll be here/there. Sometimes, things don't go as well as expected. "And" I'd sure hate my guys/girls to cut a job short, "JUST" to get to the next job. That job that's taking a little longer than expected might just be yours. "AND", We'd like to make sure we do the best we can, "EVEN" "IF" it makes us a little later for the next customer. Occasionally, we have accomodated in special instances, but as a rule, we'd prefer to give a time frame. Would you prefer if we scheduled you in the beggining or end of the week/ (or ) AM or PM.

Ok Two or three years ago I had to prematurely buy a new set (4) of trailer tires. P{issed me off. Caused by either lazyness or stupidity. NOW Before I get in the truck I "ALWAYS" & "WITHOUT FAIL" Kick "ALL" four trailer tires for air pressure. AND then check Are both safety chains on in reverse order. Are the lights hooked up. Are the door clasps on. I don't care if the trailer has been hooked for 3 days. Any one want to add to this ??

I'm feeling a little silly. What exactly are you using them for. Maybe it should be obvious to me, but oh well. I'll go get my helmut and ride the short bus.

I got mine from a Co. called Princes Auto. I paid $79 CDN. You'd be under a $100 US with shipping, considering the exchange rate. It holds a 50' of Poly that is mounted to my chem cart. (Made out of a two wheel cart, holds the battery, Sureflo, 5gal pail, and hose reel). I tried posting a pic for you but no success. So "yes" they do make one. I just went on there web site. That reel is on for $45 Cdn. About $33 Us plus shipping. My son owns a Pak Mail shipping store if you can't get it shippped by them. I'll help you out.

I'm just down the HWY from you. You can't get (chems or stains) what a lot of these guys can because of the boarder. You can call me and I'll help you out. As you have already found out there is an amazing amount of info here. So much so your eyes will hurt.

I pay $1.60 per US gal for SH. But I also pay $3.40 a US gal for regular gas. And I can assure you I use more gas than SH. Not that it's really relevant, just thought tell U.

Holy crap. How much did you tell them you were willing to buy. Call a pool co., that does opening and closings. Tell (ask) them how they buy there SH and who they suggest you call. Ask for the name of their contact. That sounds like financial rape, but then again, it's worth what the market will bear.

Ok Guys/Girls. I haven't been on this board that much lately, so I'm prepared for SOME abuse. I've got a Trex job/deck to clean for a friend that owns a rental supply house/outfit. I went on thier (Trex) web site and "ALL" it said was use SH , hot water, and LTD pressure. Am I missing something or are people making this seem a little harder than it really is ?????????????? This is not aimed at anyone in perticular.

We get ours from a rental supply house. I'm curious to see what other responces U get.

We have a couple vibrating floor machines that we use on most decks prior to staining. It makes it a lot easier to get a great finish on an older deck. Partialy our climate. people up here have a tendancy to neglect their decks a little more due to the fact that we can't use them as much. Takes out some warping, defurs, and just an overall better finished product. Also helps with the profit margine. We'll start with anything as rough as 20 if needed and finish with 60. I'd post a pic of one but not that inteligent.

First and formost, Ken , you do a lot more wood than I do, so I'm asking, not telling. Our ( One hour north of Buffalo) Olympic Max is Naptha, Alkilyd Resin, Linseed Oil based. Is ours that different. SH will usally strip it no prob. My next question would be if it is like iron on the verticals, why not strip what is needed, neutralize, sand , respray, collect $$, move on to the next ????

We don't do a ton of it. I probably went through 100 or so gallons last year. There is some things to know. Contact your local brick co. and see what they say about your area. Then talk to a local sealer mfg co.in or around your area. Get some input from them. Putting to much on creates one problem. Not putting enough on creates another. Time of day, heat, humidity.Water based, Zylene based. How much shark grip is required. Someone slips on that drive and you are the last one that touched it. That may make you liabil. Was it sealed before. What did they use. Remember. Putting it on isn't that tough, getting it off is a whole different subject. Not meant to put anyone off of doing it. All I'm saying is do ALL your home work.

If it is xylene based, put 100% WHITE cotton down, and spray it with xylene or teluline, which will cause the sealer to lift into and adsorbed by the fabric. Obviously do a test patch in an inconspicuous spot. It can take a few attemps to get all up.

First let me appologize. I know I've seen it talked about on one of the boards recently, I just can't find it. That being said, here is my scenario. We have 7 direct drive 4gpm machines (give or take depending on the day). 1 375,000 btu hot box,running off 2 100lb propaine bottles in one of our 12ft covered trailers. Instead of going and buying another machine (5.6-8gpm),appreciating that would be the best way,do we really need to???? What are the "DOWN SIDES" to joining two machines together???????? If we were to install a second hot box, could we run them both off the same bottles simultaneously to gain 8gpm of hot water??????? I like the idea of the versatility of grabbing another machine when a pump pukes and switching machines.It would give alot of flexability.

Olympic Max, or Seal King. So far those are what I've had the most success with. There is a relatively new one through Benjamin Moore (name escapes me) that I've tried once, and am monitoring. We've only done around 10 decks so far this year. It's a pain to read about these other stains knowing we can't get them up here. Oh well.

That's happened to me twice in the last week. I'd like the weather mans job. You can be wrong most days and still get full pay.
