They only wanted the trim that's getting painted, a back patio and the membrane in the pic.That's why I now have to go back and wash the half I haven't done yet. At least then when I've done the roof and gutters I'll still have a good after pic.

I was asked to wash just this, and just that. What a pain, but the customer is a big commercial client so I did.
Of course now they say. WOW. Oh, I guess you better do all of it.
Funny how it goes some times.

We use the orbital for blowing out weeds and sand from in between pavers in drives and patios. Probably only about 100,000 sq ft. a year. But enough to think it it may help on 50-70 jobs per.

I have one of their twin turbo wandsHow do you like the twin over the standard turbo.??? Is it really worth dealing with the hassle to keep something else safe from day to day damage.

"Just Plain Interior Painting", & "pressure washing".
I'm swicthing mine over. Soon to be "Revive" building maintanance. This year so far we've decommisioned a warehouse (last year 2), re and re an office for carpet install, painted,done plumbing,electrical, and (as someone on here said) still had time to spray like a male cat.
Good or bad, nothing lasts forever. I snoop on this site every, OK, almost every day. I'm looking for new ways to market Revive. I like helping. It's a great bunch of people. BUT, I'm here to further my education. This site has helped me ten fold. And I'm here looking for the next thing that you guys are doing, that my competitors are not.
I learned how to restore annodized aluminium on this site.

The rain plays havoc one way and the sun plays havoc the other. Some times you need a special trip back, just to get a good after (Revived) pic. Need an overcast day to get the right camera shots.

I was at a Ritchie Bros. auction a few years back. I bought 2 squar buff sanders, 2 carpet cleaners and an electric tile wrecker for $50. Truly, one of the best deals of my life. I sold the carpet cleaners to a guy for $150.
They do a good job. It takes you up an extra notch in the service you provide.
Now I need to replace the rubber on the botton of them. The manufacturer isn't being very helpful. YET. But if I don't get some form of satisfaction soon I'm going to be the squeeky wheel. They say they only have one person that can help with parts, and she's on vacation !!!!!

Quite the fleet.
I've got two of the squar buff. We use one on every deck. But it would be nice to have the variety.

That's the benefit of working for yourself. You get to decide who you do, and who you don't work for.
Good for you. Defenitly the right choice.
Last month I told a customer I wasn't interested in working for him again ( I stripped his log home last year)and he started getting worse. That's the benefit.
How do you handle that if you are working for someone else.

We run twins most days and 9 gal combined, we run 9 or 10 gpm tips.

The 6078 has 5 settings with a 0-6000 rpm setting. $65 brand new (reg.$199).A friend gets it through his work. BUT, if it's not the right tool, it's not such a great deal.

I have access to a Milwaukee 7/9" 6066-6 or 6088-20 grinder/sander/pollisher Cheap. Does anyone know if there is going to be a reason I shouldn't but it instead of the Makita

I got hit by lightening when I was ten. I'm not a big fan of electrical to begin with. This will have me doing a little research tomorrow.
I'm considering scafolding and tenting the front and right side. I'm not doing the back, and only 8 ft. of the left side.
It has to be started by end of this week. The new windows are coming. There is an excavator there in the back and 15 ft of wall is basicaly unaccesable at this point. A boom (genie) would be better for that area, but $$$$. It certainly has some logistical problems.

This is a 124 year old house. Made of compressed brick. Has a few coats of paint on it as well as turn of the last century pollution. I'm going to use Prosoco stripper and neutralizer.
Anyone with any experiance ??? Any advise???

Cheap brushes. I buy them when they are on sale. I would prefer the good ones. It's just not cost effective.

I don't think that gets used much. But yes, thats a membrane of some kind.
Roof 1/2 washed. We'll go back tomorrow.
I think it'll take a couple hits.
