I hope everyone has a great day enjoying their friends and family! My 10 year old son is looking over my shoulder (as usual) and wishes everyone a Happy Turkey Day as well.

Are you sure he's not just a VERY slow wallpaper contractor? LOL -
Why kick 'em why they're down? Celeste is right...a new customer base is being presented. It is an opportunity to earn their business with good solid work. Hiking up prices to benefit from their misfortune is just wrong. My 2 cents...

Any suggestions on how to leave windows looking clean after pressure cleaning a house
Camelot replied to POWERMEN INC's question in Residential Pressure Washing
I use simple cherry and add a little liquid cascade to my solution...keeps windows streak free every time! -
Florin - I don't know if these would be too thick for you, but during a conversation I had with Matt Johnson at the Myrtle Beach RT, he had a GREAT suggestion for keeping your hands dry and warm in the winter...he uses scuba diving gloves! I thought it was a great idea, one that may work for you if they're not too thick. They would probably protect your hands pretty well. - John

I need some logistical help on an issue I am having with a vinyl, split rail fence (heavy mold). The fence is 1500 feet long and meanders through a country valley alongside a dry creekbed. There is no access to water so I'll need my tank (300 gallons). The problem is that the closest I can get my trailer on pavement is about 250-300 feet away from the fence and through the creekbed (which pretty much makes this a non-option). I have 2 hose reels with 300 feet of hose each. This means I will have to pull the trailer on to the grass (which is quite "squishy"...LOL) and through quite a bit of pretty ominous terrain for a trailer. I'm nervous about getting stuck...how embarrassing would that be? My question is, does anyone have any alternative ideas for cleaning this fence? I would even consider scrubbing with a deck brush, but I'd still need access to water for rinsing...Thanks for any ideas. - John

Hey everyone...thanks so much for the info, I really appreciate it! I may go the "mother nature route"...heck, I'd even brush it if I had to. It's all vinyl and in great shape. Hey Mikey...yup, I'm coming to MB! I'll probably get in Friday evening. I'm hoping we can all grab a beer or two at some point! See you there!

We do them quite a bit and thankfully haven't had any issues. We use a standard house wash mix on them...SC, SH, etc. You guys have me nervous now...LOL

Rando - Gotta break out the brush unfortunately. What has worked for me in the past is my normal house wash solution (simple cherry) without the bleach. I put it in a 5er and brush it on with my gutter brush. Rinse it off and you'll be right as rain... - John

I'm a little jealous...I've been washing houses...LOL. Done early, though...time to chill...

LOL...that's awesome...just put my 10 year old's name in there and he got a big kick out of it!

That is so great...thanks for sharing Paul. -
Pat - I agree...same mix as vinyl. I do them all of the time. Just be careful for "soft spots"...your xjet will blow right through them if you're not careful. In my experience, the final result never seems to "pop" like vinyl. Good luck... - John

OK...been watching this thread since it's inception...I'm dying to know what this solution is. I've run across this problem in my area several times and need help with it. Jeff, what's it going to take for you to share with the rest of us? Sorry, my patience is running thin...

"Pressure Washing Bubba"
Camelot replied to Palmetto Home and Deck's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Len - This professional approach has worked very well for me too. Have the battle is showing up on time. I find that by being where you say you'll be, looking professional, and being an expert at what you do, eliminates a LOT of competition. Good post... - John -
Looks like it to me...
