  4. delco training school

There is always more then one way to skin a cat. Good luck. I do believe in training and would like to attend a 9 thousand dollar school, but I think there are other avenues of approach. I do not know how expensive them cowboys are but for me it made more sense to invest that money on reliable and necessary equipment. If this guy has the bread and wants to go then I wish him all the success in the world. However if he is just checking to See if he likes the business, I say hook up with an active contractor who is legitimate and sweat along side him in the field for a week he'll learn a thing or two. Good luck the schools are out there, if that is your desire to attend more power to you. I hope it contributes positively to your successful business.
  5. Why do they call it a hot water heater?
  6. delco training school

School for Hoods Yes, School for Wood Yes, Flatwork...if you have money to burn go ahead. My school has been clean parks in the neighborhood, happy driveways, and some spots that need to be repainted now at the house. Video training from texas dudes.....hit mute button you'll be ok. Labor for training...best way to go I think.
  7. reels

Maybe they messed up and used real steel on yours...mine lasted exactly one job, I sent it in for repair a month later it was returned however it was crushed in shipping, sent it back and going on another month. Good thing I ordered two...(They cost me over 6 hundred bucks with shipping)
  8. reels

No matter what the website says or a different vendor tells ya...they will colapse if you leave hose on reel and wash.....swivel or not precherge hose and recoil or not...pressurize the hose while it is wound... you will be out a reel..

  11. Let's pick a location for the Grime Scene Round Table

Sorry no decks down this way buddy!!! Plus it's the beach and everyone is against beach locations. In addition, everytime I review the donations I cannot seem to find your name on the list of financial contributors. I would like to remind you that the Ruth's Chris Stakehouse is right on the water here in San Juan so don't forget to include the dinner for two certificate when you send your check. Thanks.

  13. The Grime Scene Roundtable

Bye the way Beth, If you take a look you will see that this Ken Fenner guy is violating the signature requirement rule.
  14. The Grime Scene Roundtable

I am still very very interested in learning from EVERYONE. I kinda figured it would not be at some dudes house but I think the gesture was cool and the possibility for hanging out informally was attractive. I really do not care where it will be more importantly for me is when will it will be. We went from just a suggestion by John to dates set in stone...didn't seem like a whole lot of feedback was communicated regarding dates so I was surprised to see that it was all set. The location is not real important because regardless I will have to fly in and airfares probably wont fluctuate for me that much. ( It's the take off and the fuel they burn in the beginning that makes them say cha ching that'll be a thousand clams...... I want to learn from the Greasers, the Resi's, The woodies, and the dress wearers, I can learn from all of them. SOOOOOO when is this gig and where will it be??????
  15. The Grime Scene Roundtable

Still not sure why those are the best dates. My son is named Jason and His Birthday is October 31st. ( His mom has a sense of humor) His Birthday coupled with a stateside trip would be too much for us....nothings set in stone yet right?
  16. The Grime Scene Roundtable

Wont work for me Jr's Birthday is that week.
  17. 2006 Hurricane Update -IMPORTANT!

You're right about that. Plus everything is concrete I guess they learned there lesson round here many Hurricanes ago. I know you guys got hammered the last couple seasons but, I am used to it I think it was George ( 1998ish?) we were without electricity for 1 1/2 months. In my town we got water back after a week and a half but 90% of the Island had electricity back before water..makes sense since WTP's run on electricity. Needless to say people tend to get funky after a couple weeks and only taking ***** baths. I live right on the coast and I just take the ol bar o soap right to the waves.
  18. 2006 Hurricane Update -IMPORTANT!

Here on the Island we stock up on Alcohol!!! Lots of it!!!!
  19. Let's pick a location for the Grime Scene Round Table

Yeah who needs the beach. It might not be good for a lot of you being that around that time of year you will all be preparing for cold white stuff. Plus if sand gets up in your shorts it could do some horrible damage similar to the wire brushes/wheels you woodies use to scrape off old stain. The relaxed no pressure setting of the beach might be annoying, oh yeah and that nasty salty sea breeze, yucky!!!!
  20. Let's pick a location for the Grime Scene Round Table

Uh Beth I think I'll be packing that raft a little lighter...or maybe capitalize and pack it a whole lot heavier..lol!!!
  21. Would you attend a Grime Scene Round Table event?

Sorry I am retracting my comment.
  22. What type of Grime Scene Round Table would you like to see?

That could be my contribution. I live very close to Bacardi HQ however that is not the best rum, Bacardi has been the one to pay the most attention to Mr. Ken's marketing tips.:lgmoneyey
  23. What type of Grime Scene Round Table would you like to see?

Fun while informative. No chest pounding, just people helping people for a weekend. I think I would learn so much by just talking and asking questions in a "all are equal" setting. If I start building my raft now, I should wash up on the shore of AC right around October!
  24. Would you attend a Grime Scene Round Table event?

I view this as a super opportunity for "just learning" guys and gals such as myself. I look forward to meeting and interacting with seasoned professionals from the full spectrum of the industry. Vendors, Associations, Man (person) on the street. Drive On TGS roundtable!!
  25. Let's pick a location for the Grime Scene Round Table

I hate to barge in on Dr. Fenner but the Beach House is right up my alley. I really hope this comes to frutition. I know I will learn tons from you folks. Please sign up some greaseballs and dress wearing flatwork dudes. Wood is limited on my Island.
