How many of you send out Christmas cards to your customers ? I never have but was considering it .
-

I learned if a customer starts off asking a bunch of questions and seems like there nit picking that to bid it high because of all the extra BS you'll have to put up with. Had that to happen two different times this past year! Found out that both customers had already had others clean but wasn't satisfied with any one's results on two other pressure washing business? Go figure that ?Always follow your gut feeling on any bids? Got into a little more wood & concrete cleaning to help our 2018 be a success! May try and boost a few post on FB for increase sales ?

What percentage of bids is everyone closing on? We were right at 80% for this year but I feel like we left a lot of money on the table! I don't want to close on all of them just wondering if that's about normal for some of you that have been in the business for several years?

leads Closing Bids percentage for 2017
gman201 replied to gman201's question in Residential Pressure Washing
I haven't thought of the closing that way Troy? I have to keep up with it that way. -
It seems as though 12.5 % SH is getting ridiculousy high to have shipped in drums don't have a local supplier with it? Having to switch to 10% and 8.5% on house washing.12,5 is running around $3.50 gal an can get 10% for $2.00 at my location in KY. How about everyone else?

One residential machine??
gman201 replied to Dave's Precision Mowing's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Hey Dave a matter of fact you can clean both with 12v but run one tank for your roof mix an a seperate tank house wash doing only residential ! Just doing roofs your leaving a lot of cash on the table! It's a pain in the but using 2 tanks but depends on your cash! A small investment in a pressure washer an DS is the way to go .But for roof cleaning you would still need a tank an designated pump. Not to knock Xjeting. Do a little research on this forum an you decide whats best for you. -

Rust spots that appear after house wash in the soffit
gman201 replied to mike movila's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Most likey those aren't rust spots? Probably run off of wet insulation that has dripped through soffit vent holes Mike -

Extension poles for gutter scrubbing
gman201 replied to Dfloyd0106's question in Residential Pressure Washing
I really like the 30' unger pole from www.jracenstein.com/store I think about $107.00 it's saved us on more than one occasion this past summer on those hard to reach spots.Seems to be holding up pretty good so far! It's a little heavy but hey if you got a spot up high ?? Well worth it even though we probably use our 16' poles from lowes the most. lol -
