  1. Snorkel filter

I have ideas for the future, but I had a need for speed and wanted everything to just bolt in place. No time to fab or modify. Nothing worse than your rig going down hard and no back up unit. My toolbox has just about everything to get me up and running, however it did not have a new engine in it.
  2. College Start-up

Between the two of them, I am not sure what is left to clean. Seems like people from that area come and go real fast, and that is even the ones who spent a ton on equipment and marketing with business backgrounds. Lets see what they have to say in regards to hooking up. I guess working for them rather than yourself may be a pitfall for you, but you never know. As far as equipment, if you want to be competitive, you will need to step it up a bit. When you get out this way, it is real tight on commercial work.
  3. ICE. not cold ice, read and program your cell.

Things are going well. I can update that sig for you, what do you want in there? Write you up, never, I was just kidding. Didn't you see the j/k?
  4. Gillette Foamy Shaving Cream

www.ShaveSecret.com The online price is high, I get it at Wal mart for less than $4.00. Don't be fooled by the small bottle, it lasts a long time, and I even use more than they say to. I will never go back to cream or gel.
  5. gunk in fuel

Flames shooting out the top is a good indicator of either high fuel pressure or gas in the diesel tank. Black smoke is running rich, so the air bands may need adjustment. The fuel pump or solenoid may be going so the fuel is always on and building up, another reason for the flames. Do you have a gauge for fuel pressure PSI?
  6. New Hose Reel

I use 1/2" R2 hose and that stuff is the most expensive when compared to all the other stuff that is normally used. I found the best deal to be just under $300.00 for a 100 foot section and it last quite a while even with me dragging it with the truck on long centers. When I used Good year Neptune R2 4500, I paid around $125.00 for a 100 foot section. I loved that hose but there is to much restriction with 8 gpm.
  7. Gillette Foamy Shaving Cream

Had you paid attention this week, you would know that her name is Rosemary, and for some unknown reason she goes by Marvin. maybe she will explain. I like the shaving oil myself. Closer than any foam or gel has ever gotten.

  9. Unloader killer

Do you mean from both sides of the pump head? Is this a tank fed or pressure feed? My pulley setup will not allow a double feed without some extensive mods.
  10. Making the x-jet easier to use

I should have patented it before I shared the idea freely. I have 2 jugs, one for acid and one for caustic. Can switch between the two in seconds. Anthony, what was the story behind that? I recently got some evil casutic on my wrist, and aside from burning like a fire, it removed all the hair.
  11. Hot off the Press: 8.27.07

Steel Eagle, Inc. - Providing World Class Industrial & Commercial Cleaning & Storage Products I have seen some of the AIG trucks and they are really nice. F-550 flatbeds and some huge tanks.
  12. New Hose Reel

It sometimes helps to roll the coupling diagonal across the reel so it does not stick out as much.
  13. Unloader killer

My current hose is that clear braided hose similar to what comes with the X Jet, just in 1". I have the barbs that go from 3/4" mpt to 1.5" barb and will put those on very soon.
  14. ICE. not cold ice, read and program your cell.

Hey, where is your signature? Better get with the program or face serious infractions.j/k Nice to see you around Jon, how are the eyes doing? My new LG phone has a special section called ICE just for that. Guess it is catchig on in many ways.
  15. Unloader killer

3/4" mpt to 1" barb from the tank and then between 6-10 feet of hose depending on which tank. 1" hose goes to within 12 inches of pump and runs thru full port 3/4" ball valves to choose tank. Filter is also 3/4" and right at pump head attached with full port fitting. Filter is always clean. Symptoms reappeared on last night, first the pulsation and then the cycling. I pulled the nozzle to check for clogs and pulled the trigger which burped a rust puddle. Nozzle back in and then psi/flow dropped, with no bypass to the tank, so I assume the packing are dead again. Next thing was whammo, nothing! Walked around to see what the deal was and the Honda blew a hole in the side. Luckily the shrapnel did not hit my truck, or I would be even more pissed than I already am. New engine will be here tomorrow, special thanks to Mark at Easy Clean Systems for expediting all my needed items. With no engine to test anything, I ordered another unloader and new packing so i am ready for whatever my fate calls for. The coil must have a problem, despite no leaks and no major psi differentials, as that rust came from somewhere. The only other place that could produce rust in my system is the hose reel inner plumbing. After the new packings and unloader last Thursday, I did pressure checks and all was normal. I do run a pulsation dampner too. Factory All American.
  16. What's wrong with this guy ? ....

    Play nice folks.
  17. Unloader killer

John, What are you paying for the rebuild kit? I was told they are the same as a new unloader. I pay around $105.00 with shipping.
  18. Unloader killer

Never know there, since it does not seem like many folks run the ZK1's, so maybe they did come from the same batch. I shall contact General Pump and start asking questions. Yes, I have a pulse, I am not dead yet, oh wait you mean the machine. A slight one, nothing major, but I did have to replace the packings. I only work at night, so the females I see are neither young or worth looking at. They usaully have on everything they own in several layers to prevent theft. First clue was the surfacer would make the machine cycle, yet the wand worked fine. I went thru everything on the surfacer thinking there was a blockage in it, but then the wand started to do it too. Had to bypass the unloader and run an open gun to finish the job. Come to find after the fact that I was running low on pressure due to the packings, so when the unloader broke, it was not even really being worked very hard. Now that the packings are fixed and new unloader is on, lets see how long it lasts.

  21. Chem source?

The site does not say what is in it, and I did not see an MSDS listed either. Are you using a chemical and not know what is in it? Basic safety is knowing the MSDS for what you are using. Part of this is what are the main ingredients.
  22. Chem source?

What type of chem is Simple Cherry. I am guessing a Sodium metasilicate base with tsp and maybe some butyl.

Thank you for stopping by Ed.
  25. What's wrong with this guy ? ....

What about the phone number, and address? I doubt there is a Johhny St. Give him a call, maybe he needs some sealer? I sent Ed an email with a link to this thread. Maybe he will come around and comment on what the real deal is.
