I've got a Phd, aka a post hole digger. Does that count for anything?

The secret is Beth is giving away free Fury systems to all bbs members. When can we expect them?

Jean Henryck!! West Coast in the house.

These are the things that everyone has accused the PWNA of being so secretive about. What is the big deal just spill the beans and drive the membership up. If they have such a great plan, then why not mention it prior to closing the bbs to get interest? Many have been soured by the closing and will not go back, even if it was free. Whatever is in the plans better be real good if they plan to keep the board alive.

When I say run off, I mean just that, RUN OFF. If it runs off to somewhere other than staying on property then the chance is huge that the person is in non compliance. It is not just fly by nighters that trash property. Sure some is better than none, but those that allow run off are still illegal.

Cujo, If #1 & #2 are verbatim, then where is my royalty check? Feel free to use as needed. That is why it is here and i would not post it and then say no. Lance, It is there in stated print, that you get exclusive access to the work area. If that is not understood by the customer, then add a little verbal note to emphasize this. I have not had a problem with scheduling, and that may be due to the fact that I tell people that if they are having any other services done, that I should be the last guy in and the last guy out. The terms and that statement have served me well. -
I like that part, so when will everyone start recovering their water as needed, rather than only when they absolutley have to, because they are being watched? Someone can be licensed in every State, carry a gazillion dollars of insurance, and belong to every Org and Chamber out there, but if they allow run off, all the other stuff does not mean squat, as they are illegal.

Customer Agrees To: 1. Keep job site free from any obstructions or conflicts that would tend to interfere with the performance or work of Preferred Pressure. It is also the responsibility of the customer to ensure that children and/or pets are kept clear of the work site. 2. Provide Preferred Pressure exclusive access to areas covered by this contract during the performance of work specified in this contract, and areas to be covered are to be cleared of other workers, equipment, and materials. 3. Ensure the building doors and windows are properly closed prior to work start up. 4. Be responsible for the removal or clean up of resulting waste products on the job site, unless otherwise specified within the contract. 5. Due to the variations in construction practices, movement and settling of structures including normal wear and tear, Preferred Pressure is not liable for water seepage or penetration into the structure, or surrounding areas, or for any damage resulting from such seepage or penetration. -
Marketing ploy that they think will make everbody send in a check, just so they can see the bbs. Without the non members, that bbs is a ghost town. The bbs is not liked by a certain BOD member and if the choice was theirs, it would be closed down. That name will remain anonymous so as not to embarass them. As far as missing the bbs if I let my membership expire, no big loss, as I gave way more than I received.

Hot Water PW Temperature Specs
One Tough Pressure replied to Ptsnorth's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
Are you referring to an adjustable temp control or a high limit shut off? Both are available and come standard on many units. -
Not working on mine, I believe James said it doesn't work for IE.

Hot Water PW Temperature Specs
One Tough Pressure replied to Ptsnorth's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
A burner will provide a set amount of heat rise based on btu (british thermal unit). This heat rise will add 130° max to the incoming water temp, so if you have incoming water at 65°, then you can get the max out of the unit to get 195°. If you figure on average you will be somewhere around 50° incoming temp, then you can guesstimate you will usually have about 180° to clean with. That should serve you well in most situations. The engine powering the unit should have a decent charging system to keep up with the battery that will be used to provide that 12 volts. Machines vary so check into the unit you want prior to signing the line. I am guessing that this will be a hot box for your current unit. -
Sand looks cool. My only issue is size as I have a problem withg small print.

I showed you two companies and they have been around for a long time. And despite having a Verizon cell nymber they will not put it in their printed book. You would think if you are paying, why they would care.
-
I like the look of the new one, but it is very small and I can not adjust it with the mouse wheel like most sites. I will use the "Classic" option available in the lower left hand corner of the screen.
-
Pacific Bell/SBC and Verizon are the 2 largest phone books here. Neither will print an add with a cell number. They may want you money, but only if they can get more. If you do not have a landline they will make you get a remote call forwarding number for an additional fee.
-
They all serve their own purposes. I like small floaters for smaller areas and interior work. I like larger wheeled units for larger areas outside.

While we do many things that we take for granted, it is the easier ones that may put us in harms ways. While this story pertains to changing a lightbulb, it could happen to anyone using a ladder. I am sure dying was the last thing on this guys mind when he started this simple task. Be careful in all you do. Sioux Falls custodian dies from fall injuries THE ASSOCIATED PRESS SIOUX FALLS - A custodian at a Sioux Falls elementary school died Friday after he was injured in a fall. Tommy Metli, 37, of Sioux Falls, was changing a light bulb Thursday in the lobby of Garfield Elementary School when he fell from a 10-foot ladder and was knocked unconscious, school officials said. He was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital where he died on Friday. ''What we think happened is the light bulb broke in his hand,'' said Jack Keegan, superintendent of the Sioux Falls School District. ''He may have flinched and fell off the ladder.'' Keegan said Metli was following procedures and had placed the ladder on a rubber mat so it wouldn't slip. ''To us, this is a tragic accident. And one we feel very bad about for his family,'' the superintendent said. And on another note. Last week, a friend of mine who owns a carpet cleaning business went out as usual to clean a clients house. He suffered a heart attack and passed away shortly after. When the fire dept went through his wallet, they could not find anything with emergency contact info. They called the number on his van outside and heard his cell phone ringing in his pocket. When the Police searched his van they did find an employee ID card for his other job and were able to get ahold of someone after a few hours. For those that work alone, have a safety net in place to help someone help you. Have emergency contact info with your MSDS book, as it is usually easy to find. On the shelf next to the mixers, are extension shafts. Check your local paint store or Home Depot.
-
They have drill mixers in the paint dept at Home Improvement Stores. I mix my powders in a super concentrate clear bucket and then add to my main jug when i see that the powder has dissolved.
