Donations accepted. Anyone want to donate their surface cleaner for modification? It will be religious when I am done, since it will be Holy. -

Not a bad idea Scott. Should I rig my spinner up on the plywood too, or just pump the garden hose in there? -

Start planning Grant. My wife is from a German Town, that is the same as a Germantown right. She is not a member, but we can change that. -

Scott, Looking at the Steel Eagle 24", they used 4 hoses. Not exactly sure of size, but they look like 1.25 or so. They may use more due to the extra shell on the inside, but not sure yet. -

Scott, Loan me your surface cleaner, and I will modify it for you, so no bravery is needed on your behalf. I will then test this theory and the performance of my new vacuum. What do you think? -

I did not post the picture of the brush ring that they use for concrete. I think Ron may be on to something as far as the grout being lower. As I have seen posts by Carpet cleaners saying that tools like this will suck down on concrete. Mike, this is a 16" cleaner and it does require a truck mount carpet cleaner for suction, if you want to have any ability to run lots of hose. If you were to try this on a 30" surface cleaner, it would require a very large rotary blower. When you say that you would not need any sort of reclaim, well, this is it. Not a cheap one either. As far as drilling my 24" Steel Eagle and doing this, I am giving it some serious thought. Just need to guess where the best place for the four holes to be drilled is. I would also need some sort of skirt to keep the water in. If it does not work, then I can plug the holes, and remind myself of a ugly mistake. Steel Eagle sells some small light weight aluminum surface cleaners, that have a small brush around the bottom. For the 16", I could get it for around $300. plus the cost of the fittings and hose, so $350.00. -
Steve Gunn, Happy Birthday!! :bandplay:  :bday:  :club:

A lady goes to her priest one day and tells him, "Father, I have a problem. I have two female parrots, but they only know how to say one thing." What do they say?" the priest inquired. They say, "Hi, we're hookers! Do you want to have some fun?" That's obscene!" the priest exclaimed, then he thought for a moment. "You know," he said, "I may have a solution to your problem. I have two male talking parrots, which I have taught to pray and read the Bible. Bring your two parrots over to my house, and we'll put them in the cage with Frank and Jacob. My parrots can teach your parrots to pray and worship, and your parrots are sure to stop saying that phrase in no time." "Thank you," the woman responded, "this may very well be the solution." The next day, she brought her female parrots to the priest's house. As he ushered her in, she saw that his two male parrots were inside their cage, holding rosary beads and praying. Impressed, she walked over and placed her parrots in with them. After a few minutes, the female parrots cried out in unison: "Hi, we're hookers! Do you want to have some fun?" There was stunned silence. Shocked, one male parrot looked over at the other male parrot and exclaimed, "Put the beads away, Frank. Our prayers have been answered!"

Going thru my stockpile, here is another photo of the foamer. -
I currently use a Steel Eagle 12" and 24". I am happy with them, and have not had any problems. However I have not used any other brands. What are you fellow washers using, and are you happy with them?

I use a vacuum system, sump pumps, berms, vacuum recovery surface cleaners and misc vacuum attachments. Recovery is like a toolbox, where one wrench will not fill the need and you need a whole set. I say that, so you are not sold on one item being the answer. Of course some distributor's would like you to think that, but please do not be fooled. -
Bid on a condo complex today. Sidewalks, pool area, driveways, retaining walls and the curbs/gutters. Except for the latter, I had no problems. These curb/gutters are 18" wide and have a good size concave to them. Surface cleaner is probably not going to work, so out comes the trusty wand. Total running feet of curbs was 6200 feet, so the sq footage is 9300 sq ft. What would you charge for this? Will give my price when I see what others have to say.
