  1. Value vs. Price myth

I guess I am very lucky to never have that problem, I have a set price per section to wash and another price to seal or stain so when the customer calls I tell him I can give a price over the phone and Im explain that the price is xyz per side wash and the price is xyz to seal or stain, She then tells me that I am higher priced thanthe last guy quoted her, I then explain what kind of pressure we use and equiptment we use is made for that type of work and at that point they book the job. Now heres the important part when you get there if Mrs Jones does not know how to count you do not make a big deal over 1 or 2 half sections because she just saved you time and gas from doing the estimate in person. Now if she does not book the job over the phone no loss because she is a shopper and looking for the job to be done for nothing... Let the next hack she calls do it for nothing you are better than that MAKE YOUR MONEY don't give things away or you will be out of business in no time. This is a business not a hobby treat it like that and you will make the money you need.
  2. legal advice needed

  3. Are you a Joe Pesci fan?

The funniest SNL skit was the pinky ring store.
  4. This is a sore subject for me for sure.... I have no problem sharing my pictures if they ask. About 3-4 years ago There was a company in the same area that decided to register one of my names (LI POWERWASH) then to make matters worse he stole picks off my site as well as beths. I had to put my name across all my pictures on my site.

  7. Tribute to our Military

Beth I really dont know why I did not think of this earlier, But I had a dear friend of mine named Jacob Fletcher who was one of the best powerwashers I have ever met not to mention a really super person... Well he gave his life fighting for our country on november 14th he was 29 years old. I have some great pictures of him powerwashing and am not sure how to post them due to the fact that the files are always to big to post. Could someone help?
  8. gutters

The other day I washed a house and told the customer the gutters would come (cleaner) but not perfect, well to my suprise whe I went back to seal his decks he told me he was not happy with the wash when I asked him why he told me I could have gotten his gutters cleaner I assured him I could not and he proceded to spray windex on his gutters waited 3 seconds and wiped them off with a towel. To my suprise they were perfect. Has anyone ever heard of useing ammonia on gutters?
