Who needs a vacation and where are you going this summer?
Douglas Hicks replied to John T's question in The Club House
We have a weekend family reunion planned in August. We also have a cultural event planned for August 10. This is a very American activity. We will start with the American flag being exihibited by cute girls on horseback, during which the Anthem will be played loudly over really bad speakers. Then the announcer will run off about stuff nobody cares about (except where he thanks my company for furnishing the fire extinguishers.) Then the cars come into the arena. They line up and then they run into each other! The Great American Demolition Derby! Noting beats car wreaks! And if we are lucky, some of them catch fire, and I get more free advertising when my FX control the fire. -
Do you still use your local distributes at all anymore?
Douglas Hicks replied to John T's question in The Club House
What is a local distribs? My not-local distrib is in Dallas/Fort Worth. I can get a new PW, but no service or parts. Unless I drive to Portland, 600 milse RT and 2 days plus repair time. -
Political post dealing with Guns,Zimmerman/Martin
Douglas Hicks replied to John T's question in The Club House
[quote=John T;217720 It's safe as heck and easy for me to open in a heartbeat. If I had any guns, my girlfriend would have a pistol on her side of the bed, and I would have one on my side. Then there would be long guns in the corner. All my guns would be loaded at all times. If I had any guns. -
Hooking up new pressure washer to tank
Douglas Hicks replied to joelnece's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
if you would use clear braided hose, you could see if air bubbles in the hose are the problem. Having said that, I have only used clear hose once, it got sucked shut. Braided hose was not available, so I just went back to 3/4 heater hose. It has worked for me for 30 + years. -

So the safe that only accepts your hand print, what happens when the battery dies? If I was to have a pistol, I would look at the Ruger LCP. They say it is small enough to fit the back pocket of a man's jeans. http://www.thesurvivalistblog.net/ruger-lcp-380/ -
No one wants to wish our country Happy BirthDay? With all our problems, I still would rather be here than any other nation. Happy Birthday to our Country.

Maybe the hose for the surface cleaner was too short to reach from the ground? Did you wait to get video of them taking the pw down the ladder?

I would peruse the folks here who sell to the professionals. Not only do they have good stuff, but they know what does and does not work. They do not sell that which does not work. You ask about a "resonalbel price". We know that cheap is not cheap, but expensive. And we know that expensive is not expensive.

With all the drama here on TGS, I want to post this news article I found. Larry La Prise, the man who wrote the Hokey Pokey, died peacefully at age 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And that's when the trouble started....

It will return, my experience tells me so.

Pressure fluctuations, trigger gun problems and pop goes the relief valve
Douglas Hicks replied to Bennyhonda's topic in Tools, Equipment & Basic Maintenance
You may also have a bad hi-limit swtch. It should be at or near the outlet of coil., just before the hose connection. -
NAPA has a 3M product that removes labels. The label says use with plenty of ventilaltion. I stopped using the stuff, even with the fan on, & the doors opoen, there was never enough ventilation.

Using sewer jetting hose for power washing
Douglas Hicks replied to Wayne G.'s question in Residential Pressure Washing
The sewer hose is slippery and flexible. Abrasion resistance is not as important as getting through tight places. -
Lucas Electrics? That will keep you busy.
