Mike, I agree 100% on this. Too many problems with people using our photos already and I dont allow it. I am not as tech savvy as most and I am the first to say it. But doesnt google recognize when its a photo being used as such? For the price of a camera, or use of your phone, its well worth the hassle of taking your own photos. If you cant then you shouldnt have any. We take photos upon doing the estimate. Theres your before. And its benefit to do this as you can compare houses and possibly research why you did get one house and not another, i.e. did you price one higher, etc.

Al, Not sure as I think there are many options. I would recommend to stay away from Best Buy. We have been duked by them on several occasions in the past two years. Including the Geek Squad. Its worthless and I am guilty of falling for their sales pitch. We even had a laptop hard drive go bad from there that wasnt even a year old. Took two weeks to get it back and they mailed it and left it on our porch. Since that day I have stayed out of there.

LOL I remember the days I would say booo too. But the snow business has been an extra blessing. This winter we have put some new systems in place. We have edited and changed many systems. Marketing included. More tracking will make us aware of the new systems we are putting in place. And the old systems that didnt produce we are not and will not be doing anymore. Pretty good stuff. We havent did the numbers for Feb yet but Jan was the best January ever for us.

Its exciting to know spring is around the corner. Although for us we are still awaiting the storm coming this Weds. I had on my list to do this week, to remove the snow plow and spreader. But that is on hold. Nice to make that extra chunk of change going into spring. For us our machines will be serviced to full extent as usual. Sames with the trucks and trailers. I think alot of people forget about the maintenance on trailers. Our marketing never ends. We just produce more pieces at certain times frames thru the year.

Sensable questioning regarding an Association is a right to the members and potential members. Asking how one should take their own life is disturbing and the poster should be banned for life. There is too much drama in the world the way it is. But when the owner of the BBS makes a post saying that it stops here and now, and there is no respect from the Remora's it makes it apparent why this industry will never end up in unity. There's a total lack of respect among some.

Guy, I saw what you wrote so I will respond as gingerly as possible. This thread has obviously hit a nerve to some. I find it funny what you wrote on this post but it was screen shot and somehow ends up on your President's BBS. Really Guy I think you and his friends may have to rethink how you want to play ball. He can make 1000 you tube videos calling me out. I dont care. He can try to discredit me. I dont care. I know the trusth and nothing he does or says will change that. I am a moderator here and respected by many more than you will ever know. I try to hold up my end on standards and practices. I also have tried to stay ethically correct. I have had many phone calls from respeccted contractors and I have assured them that I would leave them out of this situation. I have done that and I will continue to do so. Life is a two way street. Remember that. You can't expect people to get blasted and then in turn when its you you cry wolf or whine about some wrong doing. This kind of sounds like a phone call I had with your president. If you and the BOD want opinions or help I will give it. Here is my suggestion. Close the doors. Disban the Org. End it all. Can I be any more clear then that? What has transpired from jealously and ignorance is unreal. I make an opinionated statement and your so called leader, his friends and the BOD chose to make it personal and attack me. Questions are avoided. You cannot manipulate people but so far. You cant use the friendship card when its suiting then pull the card when its not. Or maybe the horse just stopped? I have told many others this and since you brought it up I will say it directly to you. I dont need recognition about the convention I was a chair of. I had plenty of help and there were plnety of things that went wrong. Most of that only a few people only knew or know of. I am no different than the guy who put on the next round table. We have a very successful business and I can say that for the past 10 years or so. I have been blessed with being able to go from a part timer to a full timer. To answer your question from previously I was a professional bullfighter for almost 13 years. Not a clown like I was accused of. Its not about bashing but the materials and information that the BOD has released will continue to be detrimental to this Org. Can it succeed with only 100 members? I guess we will see.

Chris, Glad you have some passion for this industry. Thats good. Ask yourself why its being wasted on an Org thats being ran by the Blob. Pay attention to what people are writing and saying. Ask yourself how certifications make sense if S&P's arent done? Ask yourself why was the Org (revamped) as a For contractor By Contractor saying? Ask yourself why is there so much double talk or questions being avoided? Ask yourself what Org is out there that allows NON-Paying "members" , lol, to be on committee's? Ask yourself why are people afraid to speak up?
