Chemical injector placement question
FCPWLLC replied to rholman's question in Residential Pressure Washing
That's exactly where the DSer's need to be. I would also make sure they are Quick connected for easy/quick replacement. -
Showing new contractors the ropes in your area.
FCPWLLC replied to John T's question in The Club House
I helped shorten the learning proccess for some local folks even though they used service-magic to try and get my pricing. I was still a nice guy and helped them out. Hooked them up with Bob at Pressure-tek too. Fast forward..... Now they are using service magic also and bidding against me. My bid on Deck= $2200 thiers= $800 (900 sqft) Not anymore. Want to know how I market and sell? It'll cost from here on out. Just my $0.02. -
I get $250+ here in a land of $99 washes. I do agree that there is a cap in areas, but I believe that we should always be trying to get the cap and start pushing that cap further up.

This is why through good marketing and targeting, we stopped selling "clean." We started selling SERVICE. Dependability, professionalism, logo'd gear, nice equipment, on-time service etc etc etc. These are the things that build more VALUE and can be SOLD. You are the only one that knows this is an hour of work. Also, YOU know what was involved to get the ball rolling to get to that job all the way from advertisement cost to the gas used to get there. How long would this take the HO to do? How much would it cost them to rent equipment search for chems etc? How much is all this worth to THEM? This is what you sell... not an hour of work.

Wood cleaning low pressure demo video
FCPWLLC posted a question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
As you all know, I don't do much wood as it isn't as profitable as vinyl siding. Here is a demo of the low-pressure I use when we do decks. Right chems=No High Pressure. [yt]yiB2wOu8jak[/yt] Try not to be too critical as I am just farting around with video camera. -
prices for the south and extension wand or x jet
FCPWLLC replied to Clean Cut Solutions LLC's question in Residential Pressure Washing
Low-pressure down-streaming will reach those higher places easily. -
I like vendors that don't lie to sell or lead a sale towards a higher margin product.

It amazes me too Ken. Seems the Marketing threads are short.

Here is video of how to attatch pics. Kind of blurry with cam so close to monitor but I think you can still make it out. I'll try another with my "Good" Camera later. It just takes more time to convert files. YouTube - Attatching Pictures at The Grime Scene

How's the housing market there Jeff? I think I wanna move to Myrtle Beach... LOL Seems there is plenty of work there and that Pressure washing is an accepted service. Lots to clean here but people seem to draw a blank stare when you tell them that you can clean thier building. Get while the gettin' is good Jeff. Put away for rainy days.

Picture of a deck I just recorded the steps to attach a pic. I will upload video in a while.

This video shows 2 large surfacers attatched to clean a wider path. http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/sunbrite/FlatSurface.wmv Maybe that can give ya an idea of how to do it.

My thoughts exactly! Sounds like a guy that goes door to door through nieghborhoods. Hence the low price. Cold calling breeds those low prices. Baffles me as to why guys would want to work so hard for so little.

BMW M5 Dinan Stage 3..... 0-60 in 4 seconds in a 4 door luxury sedan. Talk about a sleeper.

I'm all ears if it isn't "low bid gets it" kinda work.

12% for minimum $350 job invoice. 8% for $1000+ jobs.

My first rig was a Landa. Great machine. However, for the money, I'd just get a 8 gpm Pressure Pro hot rig.
-
I would raise my prices and lessen the work load while making the same $$$$.

That stream is only 40-50 psi. There is no pressure so the soap pulls perfectly. It is the tip we use.... 0040 tips will allow you to pull chem and still shoot far. Flow is what helps aid in the distance that you can shoot, not the pressure.
