You have to remember Bill, many readers are very new to the business of running a business. This is not 101 stuff. I think making a post about forecasts, objective facilitation and compensation models intimidates many readers. There are several very bright individuals here and I have spoken with many of them. I think some great minds could come together and I would enjoy learning from them as well as sharing what I have been taught.I don't think of myself as an elitist by any stretch but this level of business is something new to this industry (as a whole). In years past you bought a rig and did your thing. I think it is great that you want to share your knowlege on a quid pro quo basis. I have made myself available to you if you'd like to chat sometime via phone. If you'd like to come up to PA or NJ I'd be happy to post a mini round table.
I am writing a book on a host of topics as it pertains to contractors. I am a little tighter with information than I have been in the past on these boards. That is why I was hesitant to share information but ina selective enviroment I would be fine with it.
I would love to be at that round table. Let me know if there are solid plans. Winter works best for me. :)

The local MMA here has a program for kids. We are considering Brazillian Jujitsu for our 4 year old boy. He likes watching UFC and thinks he knows what an Armbar is. LOL
Jeff, How much time does this take you guys each week?

I went with "Power Washing" because here in KY, that term is used more often and when I would google it, it produced more results. I think that different areas use different terms.
That said, "Pressure Washing" is still my top keyword for the web site. LOL
Actually, we don't use much pressure for anything these days except for flat work. All low pressure here at First Choice Power Washing LLC.

and oh yea I put a bid in for this truck while my wife is next to me sleeping. I just found out that my credit score is 793...I need to bring that down some:)I saw your feedback dude.... Too funny... LOL Was he a liar just like his Mother? LOL
If that truck pulls like my F450, you'll be able to pull the friggin store fronts to your place to clean them. LOL

Nice set up John T. I like the idea of the reels being opposite the curbside door. That is better I belive than at the rear. I just bought a trailer this week. I'm getting ready for a winter project. I'll have all winter to put this thing together the way I want it. I'll be coating the floor with "Truck bed Lining" Wanting to get it painted same color as my Truck, But am finding that it will be kinda expensive. Maybe I'll just Get vinyl cut for it. 6x12 is alot of billboard space.
John, did you buy that trailer Painted red or did you have it painted?

I have the new Nextel Motorola i580. It is the Military spec phone. Dust/rain resistant. Bluetooth. Telenav GPS guided directions. 1.8 Megapixal camera. Will shoot video and has a SD card slot for storing pics, videos, MP3's and easily transfer to computer. Really nice phone.

I just ordered an Enclosed trailer. Will be getting it outfitted this winter. Roll out this spring with a Moving Billboard. Spend the winter putting together a mailer campaign.
Ken, did you get that email with the blank mailer attatched?

Found a place here this morning selling at $2.00. Some sort of promo I guess. I filled everyting up.

I paid $2.02 yesterday morning and an hour later it had jumped to $2.24.

Price is good. The biggest reason that it probably took you longer than the rest of us is your machine. Higher GPM will always clean/rinse faster.

Save some money for Marketing. All the equipment in the store won't mean diddley if your phone isn't ringing.

I killed 15 goldfish today. The people had a reroute tube coming from thier downspout diverting water 30 feet away from pond. Well we cleaned the roof but turns out that the diverter wasn't completely sealed at the townspout. and leaked a little love close to the pond. Before we left there were floaters. I just got off of phone with the Pond guys. They are going to drain/scrub the pond and re-fill/stock. Costing me about $250. Oh well. This is the life as a Bleach Dweller. :lgsick:

Correct, Butyl base. Maybe TSP after? I like Silverjet HDB. I get it locally at the Hotsy dealer.
