Robert Hinderliter posted a topic in Look What's NewPOD Pricing: POD #1; 55-Gal Sludge/Hydrocarbons Pod, #MTSHP-16.1: $795.00 This pod is needed for large amounts of sludge and filters down to 800 Microns with separation and adsorption for Hydrocarbons. Continuous running 16 GPM pump injects air into the waste stream to aid in Hydrocarbon Separation and interception in POD #2. POD #2; 55-Gal Hydrocarbons/Silt Pod: #MTHSP-16.1: $795.00 This pod is needed for silt smaller than 800 Microns and filters down to 200 microns necessary for the HSSP-25.1 with separation and adsorption for Hydrocarbons. Continuous running 16 GPM pump injects air into the waste stream to aid in Hydrocarbon Separation and interception in POD #3. POD #3; Hydrocarbons/Silt Separator POD: #MTHSSP-25.1: List Price: $1,375.00 This is the main pod, if you have fairly clean waste water then this pod may be enough, it is rated for 25 GPM. It needs to have enough life between cleaning to meet your requirements and with no Oil Sheen on the discharge waste water; for example a sidewalk without grease and dirt loads. PODS #1, #2, and #4 add to the capability of the MTHSSP-25.1 POD #3 so it can handle any job up to 16 GPM for anything from building and houses to heavy equipment and garage cleaning. If the MTHSSP-25.1 will not give you enough life before clean out is required with no oil sheen then you will need to add POD #2, If POD #2 will not give you enough life before clean out is required with no oil sheen then you will have to add POD #1. If POD #1 will not give you enough life before clean up is required then you will have to do a better job of capturing pollution (sand, rocks, dirt, hydrocarbons, etc) on the washing pad and precleaning. Extensive Developmental Testing was done with all four pods being used and field testing has been done with only part of the pods by a contractor in Washington, DC proving that all of the pods are not needed in every situation. If you are going to add the MTHSSP-25.1 to your present system then the Silt in the Waste Water before the MTHSSP-25.1 needs to be no larger than 200 microns and passed through an Oil Absorbent Material like a boom on the wash pad. If the remediation’s of the waste water is a critical issue or doing recycling then POD #4, Quality Control Pod, needs to be added. Note: The MTHSSP-25.1 is patented technology with US and Canadian Patents and has been used in Commercial Kitchens for years. POD #4; 55-Gal Quality Control Pod: #MTQCP-16.1: $795.00 This 16 GPM Pod is needed for additional remediation of the wash water, mainly for recycling, lower discharge parameters, and quality control. In most cases it will not be required except for "Image" and recycling. Note: 55-gallon PODs 1, 2, & 4 (single use pickle barrels with lids) were the minimum size that would work efficiently, as there was not enough dwell time in smaller pods for separation to occur, smaller versions of MTHSSP-25.1 were also tested but would not handle our pollution level and flow rate. Also, Primary Separation Towers smaller than 12" (17-gallons) did not work satisfactory. In order to reduce the size from 1,500 gallons (common for this type of equipment) to less than 200 gallons all of the following technologies were utilized: Filtration, Adsorption, Adhesion, Air Encapsulation & Floatation, Vertical and Horizontal Separation aided by Gravity & Centrifugal Force, and Coalescing. The pods can be separated up to 20 feet but need to be stationary when in operation (like on a parked vehicle). For flows greater than 16 GPM continuous, you will need more than one system. The PODs are independent of each other, so that you can start out with POD #3, the basic pod, and then add the other PODs as necessary. Also you can add any POD to your present system to increase your capability. Introduction Offer Order all 4 PODs for free freight within the 48 contiguous states.
