0 Deck Guy 14 Report post Posted July 18, 2007 “One would soon go mad if one took such coincidences too seriously. One might be led to suspect that there were all sorts of things going on in the Universe which he or she did not thoroughly understand.” – Kurt Vonnegut
0 MMI Enterprises 289 Report post Posted July 18, 2007 ahh Larry... that's a good one.. Takes a humble heart and faith to avoid madness. :) But seriously, I do truly believe coincidence can be a direct conduit to spiritual mysteries or undeniable proof to the existence of something beyond the physical world for all of us. Sometimes it gets real personal and makes converts. Surely there be plenty of works on it but I really enjoyed the examination of it in the 'road less traveled' book series. 0 John T 744 Report post Posted July 18, 2007 John...I read one that said..A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe , Maryland A week before Kennedy was shot, he was IN Marilyn Monroe. Thats probably how it really goes. The guy who sent me this is very religious and he goes on religious retreats every year. He might have changed the end. It is interesting all the coincidences.
