n4rb 14 Report post Posted August 1, 2007 Hey everybody, just a quick question here, I have this wand (pictures attached) and would like to know if there is any possible way I can convert it so I can use the quick disconnect nozzles on it. Reason being: I am buying an X-Jet, and obviously won't be able to use it with whats on there now. or do I need a new wand? And if I can convert it to a quick disconnect, any ideas how? Thank You very much! -Pat
Russ Johnson 141 Report post Posted August 1, 2007 Just remove the adjustable nozzle, put a coupler socket on in place of it, and buy some quick connect tips to go in it.
MMI Enterprises 289 Report post Posted August 1, 2007 What's that wand threaded like..1/4? Looks like you would just unscrew that variable sprayer via that brass nut and the wand will be male pipe threaded underneith. The quik connect for wand tips are female..least mine is..they just screw on end. You can see wand kits or washers with them at Lowes.. if lucky they may have a loose one fer sale. You should also be able to see them in site vendor catalogs here. Click on a banner to get to them off main page.. ps.. opp there's one now.. hi Russ :)

Tmrrptr 164 Report post Posted August 2, 2007 n4, cool looking little hi-lo gun setup! I think I'd leave it the way it is. This is a good opportunity to contact one of the site vendors and get another pistol, wand(s) of your choice, and the Xjet. Don't forget a few extra plug and couplers... replacement O-rings are a good idea, too! Yah, I really like backups! ...and maybe 50 or 100ft of no-mark hose. Well, that's one box ! Then get another of chems! r
n4rb 14 Report post Posted August 2, 2007 The problem would be with leaving it the way it is, is that I couldn't attach my X-Jet M5 to it, so I would need to convert.
