CCHSNC 14 Report post Posted January 31, 2004 I could use some input please. I am looking into some new equipment for the upcomming season one option is 6gpm @ 2500psi and the other is 6gpm @ 3000PSI there is about $1000 buck increase in price for 3000psi. (these are hot water machines) My question is, is 2500 psi to little? I know it depends what I'm cleaning so let's say decks, houses, heavy equipment and restaurant pads. My current machine is a 4gpm @ 3500psi. I appreciate all the input.
timhays 14 Report post Posted January 31, 2004 our machinjes are 3500 psi, when the pressure drops to 2800 it feels as though its a garden hose, might want to invest in the 3000 or 3500 psi option.
dk34 14 Report post Posted January 31, 2004 At 6 gpm, 2500 psi should be more than enough for the decks, siding, and equipment. The flat surface cleaning you may see a difference. I'd go with the 2500.

Aplus 525 Report post Posted February 3, 2004 3000 @ 6gpm will be a good all around machine.
